Tiffany had fainted after Vincent hit her in the head with the butt of his gun. Later, she awoke with one hell of a headache. She groaned as she sat up slowly, touching her head exactly where it hurt. She tried to recall what had happened and gasped when she remembered. Victor.
She looked around the tiny room she sat in. It was dark, but she could see every detail. There was no windows and the walls were plain white. It kind of reminded her of a prison cell. Under her was a twin sized bed that was hard and springy. She pulled the thin sheets up to her chin and bit her lower lip. She really regretted this now. She was supposed to get Melody out of there along with herself, but failed and where the hell was Darius? Hadn't he promised she would be ok? She laid back down, trying to think of a way out, but couldn't think of a thing, nothing. She wanted to cry all of a sudden. What was she to do? The door suddenly creaked open, making her stiffen up. She immediately closed her eyes and pretended she was still passed out. Good thing was, she was good at faking. She felt the back of a hand caress her cheek. She seriously wanted to jerk away from his touch, but forced herself to hold still, she couldn't give him any signs she was now awake.
"So beautiful, as always." Victor mumbled softly as he continued to caress her cheek.
His hand was now in her hair. She hated his touch; wanted to smack his hand away. Finally, his hand left her hair and she felt like she could relax again. Thank God. She thought to herself.
She then heard him leave, closing the door on the way out. She let out a sigh, realizing she was actually holding her breath. Wow, that was close. Sitting up, she started to study the room. It looked like she had to do things on her own. She needed to find a way out and also find Melody as well. After she found Melody, they would leave and figure out what the hell was up with Marius. She really wanted to know why the plan didn't go as well as it should have gone. She quietly got up out of the uncomfortable bed and immediately began to study the room. She noticed a small hole in the door, big enough for her to get a peek of what was on the other side. She kneeled down and looked through the hole. The other room was filled with light and much bigger. A door was right on the other end and a few windows were lined along the walls. That was her escape route, but where was Melody? She needed to find her before she could leave. She could see Victor pacing in the room, hands behind his back. He seemed to be deep in thought. Suddenly the phone rang and he picked it up before it could ring for the second time.
"Hello?" He spoke into the phone.
She couldn't hear the conversation, but knew from Victor’s expressions, it may not be too good. He nodded his head a couple of times with a "mmhmm." and then hung up. After a moment, the phone rang again and he picked up.
"Jack?" He asked. "Hey, can you come down at the moment? I got something you need to see."
He waited a moment and then said, "I know, but I got her this time."
He seemed to get a bit angry and cursed under his breath, "I can't wait any longer! Can’t you get them to come down now? Seriously, this is the real deal. I am not joking!"
