Tiffany inhaled and slowly exhaled. They had chosen for her to wear a plain white dress. The dress was sleeveless and slightly loose fitted to her form. The skirt skimmed her knees. This dress was good for running in since the skirt didn't get in the way and it wasn't too tight. She twirled around slightly, studying her image in the human sized mirror in front of her. Luke, Darius's father, had informed her she had an hour to prepare now. Was she ready? She wasn't sure. She knew there was no way she could out run a wolf. A frown tugged at the corners of her mouth. What was she to do? She was dreading the moment she would have to try and outrun wolves. Darius had avoided her most of the day and still was. Why was he treating her like this? Tiffany lowered her head and sighed sadly. What was a girl to do? These people were strange and to make it more strange, they were freaking werewolves! She most definitely didn't want to do this tonight, but his father had insisted.

"Ready?" A woman asked in a snobby tone.

Tiffany turned to look the girl in the door way over. She was actually quite beautiful. Did Darius liked these types of women? Women with Barbie doll features and large breasts.

"Y-Yes." Tiffany stuttered.

The girl looked Tiffany over and 'humphed'. Did she really just do that? What was up with her nasty attitude? Tiffany narrowed her eyes, a lopsided frown upon her face. Crossing her arms over her chest, she stood her ground and held her head high.

"Who are you?" Tiffany asked curiously.

"Ruth. That's all you need to know." She glared.

What was up with this girl? Why did she seem to hate Tiffany? Tiffany honestly didn't even know her. Ruth stuck up her chin and exited the room, acting as if she were higher in status and better in everything. Tiffany could already tell she was going to have problems with that girl. Tiffany sighed and sat on the bed in the room they stuck her in. She glanced out the window to her side and noticed it was getting dark out. Only fifteen more minutes and she would have to be out there running from a bunch of wolves. Who knew, maybe she would end up dying tonight. She really wanted to know why she had to be involved in this. Tiffany closed her eyes and relaxed. It was so quiet and at peace at the moment she felt at peace, but soon that would all change.

"Tiffany..." Darius said at the door way.

Tiffany opened her eyes and looked at Darius, his large frame filling the door way. He wore nothing but black and his hair was messy. He looked so handsome.  Tiffany stood up and sighed as she crossed the room to him. Holding out his hand towards her, he stood there waiting for her. She slid her hand into his and immediately felt the sparks as soon as their skins touched. Studying his eyes, she looked for some sign he felt it too. She could see he did. A smile touched her face as she hugged him. She truly did love him and wanted to be with him. Hopefully she survived tonight.

"Let's go, my father said it is beginning." He informed her.

She nodded and held his hand while they descended down the stairs to the first floor. The living room was filled with people. She saw his parents, Ruth and a few other people she didn't know. One of them came up to Tiffany and Darius. He looked just like a player and a jokester all in one. His baby blue eyes twinkled as he smiled at the two of them.
