"When I first met you, I remember thinking I had to have you or I would Die.. I remember my heart whispering "she's the one" I remember how it felt the first time you said "I love you." I know I've messed up in the past and I haven't always been the best person to you. I understand everything now.. And I'm sorry I made such a-"

"Shaniya, its been 3 weeks.. You need to go do something.. Get out of the house.." I quickly folded the letter and put it in my drawer before I could finish reading it.

Its been 3 weeks since she ripped me away from my family and friends.. From Ashton.. I dropped out of school. How does she expect me to do anything ?

I haven't said a word to her since we left. She's pretty upset about it, and so is my father. I mean I would be too, but they had no right to do this to me.

I slightly nodded and frowned at her.

Its been 21 days. Only 162 more to go. My phone began vibrating on the bedside table. I grabbed it to see Ashton's name followed. I ignored it and let it go to voicemail. He's called everyday since I've left and I haven't been able to talk to him.

"Hey, uh, its me .. Again. I've called everyday.. I know you're getting them.. And for whatever reason you're not answering, just know, I love you and I'm not gonna give up.. Uh, I guess call me when you get this.. Or not.."

Tears formed in my eyes as I heard the hurt in his voice.

Ashton -

I scribbled down a bunch of words on a piece of paper and ran to my car. I turned the radio on and drummed to the beat of the song on the steering wheel.

I arrived at the studio within minutes. I ran inside and turned the mic on holding onto my paper. My voice cracked as my palms began sweating. I cleared my throat as I began singing the lyrics I wrote down.

"I remember the day you told me you were leaving I remember the make-up running down your face And the dreams you left behind you didn't need them Like every single wish we ever made I wish that I could wake up with amnesia."

I didn't realize I was crying until I felt a tear drop fall on my hand. I called the boys to help me finish the song.

Within minutes they were here. "Hey man, what's up?" I handed them the paper with the lyrics. "Is this about Shaniya..?" I shyly nodded trying not to cry.

After working for 5 hours, we finally finished the song. We called Adam to come to the studio to record. We were sitting on the beanbag chairs reminiscing the memories of the first song we ever wrote and recorded here.
