I woke up laying on Ashton's chest, our legs and arms intertwined with one another. Nothing could've made this better. I laid there drawing circles on his torso waiting for him to wake up. "Good morning", his voice quiet yet raspy. "Mornin." I unraveled myself and walked to the bathroom.

I turned the water on, and stripped of my clothing placing them in my hamper. I let the hot water run down my back before washing my hair and body.

Ashton ~

There was a knock on the door so I ran downstairs. As I opened the door some guy barged in. "Who are- never mind, Where's Shay?" "She's taking a shower." He stood there pacing around making me nervous. "Uh, who are you?"

Niya ~

I heard Ashton talking to someone. Their voices were so quiet I couldn't make out the other voice. I walked downstairs drying my hair with a towel. "Phoenix, what are you doing here?!" My brother ran to me pulling me in the kitchen, as he paced around. "Phoenix! What's wrong?" He was silent. "You came barging into my house. What do you want?!" "They're looking for me.. I-i need your help." "Whose looking for you?" "Axel and Damon." "Why are they looking for you?"

After 15 minutes, I had no choice but to get him out of Australia, and soon. "Um, okay go in my room. I'll be up in a minute."

"Ash.. Come here please." "Who's that?" "Uh, Phoenix.." "And he is?" Ashton started getting irritated. "I-i can explain later, I just need to go okay? You can stay here, go home, come with me. I don't care, I just need to get him out of here." "Not until you tell me who he is!" "Then forget it, I have to go!" I ran up the stairs. "Phoenix, come on." He changed into different clothes, and redid his hair in a quiff. "C'mon Niya!" I grabbed my keys and we left.

Ashton ~

I needed to go with Niya but she left too early. I locked her door and got in my car and followed her. She's never told me about this Phoenix guy, so for all I know, they couldve had an intimate relationship.

20 minutes later we ended up at the airport. I seen Niya and Phoenix yelling back and forth at each other. I parked my car and started walking towards her.

Niya ~

We pulled into the airport parking lot, and got out of the car. "Why are we here?" "You're getting a plane, and you're going to California." I seen Ashton walking towards us, but i didn't care. I needed to get him out of here. "I can't go there Niya. Its too far from you guys." "You spent 3 years in Juvy, and 3 Years in prison, you can go to California to save your life. I love you, and I can't let you stay here. Not with Ashton around." "Fine I'll go. Just help me get Jaeson there." "I'll do what I can okay?"

We finally got inside and I bought his plane ticket and got his pass port. "I'm really sorry Niya.. I- I didn't mean for this to happen." "Just get on that plane and go to Jasmine's. I'll call her. Give me your phone." I took his phone and gave him a burner phone. "Use this for now, and I'll send you money to buy a new one. Its a burner phone, it cant be traced, and they shouldn't be able to find you."

Ashton ~

I was confused as to why he couldn't be here with me around. I seen Niya hug him and he kissed her forehead after saying their "I love you's" and goodbyes.

"What are you doing here?" "You told me to come if I wanted to." "Yeah. In my car. Not follow me." She was pissed, and crying. I didn't know what happened, I just knew something happened. "Look, I can't talk about this here, or now, or with you honestly." "So what are you saying?" "I'm saying I can't talk to you right now!" With that she walked away.

Niya ~

It hurt to tell Ashton I couldn't talk to him, but I couldn't discuss it in public. For all I know, they could be anywhere, and I couldn't risk getting him caught. I drove home as tears fell from my eyes.

I pulled into my driveway and ran inside, calling Jasmine. After 3 rings she answered the phone. "Hey"..

Hanging up after 20 minutes, Ashton walked through my door. "Dammit Shaniya. What the hell is going on!?" "Listen, you dont get it. I cannot talk to you about him. At all! I'm not ready!" "Then don't talk to me until you're ready to tell me who this guy is!"

Ashton grabbed his keys and started walking away. "Ashton please don't do this again." I ran after him. "Do what? Last I checked you were keeping secrets not me." God he doesn't get it. "Listen. I cannot talk to you about this here okay? I promise I'll talk to you about it. Just not here."

Its been a week and Ashton hasn't talked to me. I've left him 50 voice mails and texted him 331 times. He really doesn't understand.

"Jaylynn! Wait up." I caught up to her. "What's up?" "Well see..." The conversation went on for at least 20 minutes. "Uh, there's Ashton." She pointed behind me, as he was walking into the coffee shop holding hands with a girl. "Oh.. Uh yeah cool. I'll catch up with you later."

I walked off and went to Ashton's house. I knocked on his door and his mom opened it. "Oh Shaniya, its been so long! Come in"

After talking for a little bit, I went to Ashton's room and collected all of my belongings, as he was walking through the door. "What are you doing?" "Clearly we don't feel the sane way about each other, so I'm just gonna leave."

I got inside, shortly followed by Ashton. "What do you mean?" "I seen you Ash.. At the coffee shop, with god only knows who.." "Seriously Shaniya? Look its not even like that."

"I can't fight with you. If you don't want to tell me what you were doing with her, then leave." "Tell me Who Phoenix is and I'll leave."

I couldn't lose this boy again. I needed to tell him. "Come with me." We walked to my car and got in. I was extremely scared to tell him anything about Phoenix, but I know I needed to.

"Why are we here?" "You wanna talk about Phoenix, let's talk." "Wait really?" "If its the only way I won't lose you to another girl, then yeah."

Ashton ~

I seen tears fall from her eyes as she spoke those last words to me. "You're never gonna lose me to anyone." "Really? Cause it didn't seam like it." She was looking at me now. I kissed her, as I felt a tear fall from my eyes. "You will never lose me, and if you're not ready to talk about this Mysterious guy, then I'm willing to wait." "I'll tell you all about him okay? I just need to make sure he's okay first." I nodded so she knew I was fine. "I promise." She kissed me and we laid on the beach, as she fell asleep on my chest.
