What if you argue and threaten to leave?

This one was requested by Johanna_AJ ; Where they and the character have an argument or something like that, but they make up when the character threatenes to leave. With Thorin, Fili, Kili and Legolas.

Because I don't want every single one to turn into a small story, this one will also be just my thoughts.

Thorin; I think that, if you were in a relationship with Thorin, that you could do almost no wrong. He has already gone through a lot, so in his relationship with you he would pick his battles. Also because he is old and knows not to argue about every little thing.

The one thing he would argue about is the amount of time you spend with man he doesn't know. Dwarves are jealous and Thorin, I think, would feel like he could lose you. He would feel slightly insecure about the relationship so he would seek for an argument in such a situation.

When you threaten to leave, he would fall silent and his eyes would widen. His mouth would open slightly and he would simply stare at you. Then he would rush to you, not touching you because he doesn't want to upset you more and make you leave. He would remind you of the good times and tell you how much he loves you.

He would promise you to behave better as long as you stay with him. He would do anything for you to stay.

Fili; Fili would argue with you because he is young and stressed with the burden of being the first in line to the throne. Sometimes it just all gets too much for him, and without wanting to, he takes it out on you.

At times he wouldn't see why it was that you two argued as much as you did. He would talk about it to Thorin who would explain to him how he needs to treat his beloved.

Then he would go home and try and do better. But when one argument ends in you saying that you are going to leave, he would fall silent and walk out the door. I think he would go to the training ground and train until he collapses.

Not because he doesn't want to talk but because he doesn't want to argue again. So instead of taking his frustration out on you, this time he would take it out on a punching bag. Then he would go home and talk to you about how to work at this in your relationship.

Kili; Kili would be a bit oblivious to everything that happens around him. I think that if there was a problem, or a small argument, that he wouldn't fully understand how mad you really were.

So instead he would make a joke that, to you, would clearly be unappropriate. I don't think Kili, at first, would understand that he seriously screwed up this time. Not until you tell him that you are leaving.

I think he would chuckle, look at your face and realize that you are serious.

Then he would rush to your side to talk to you. He would be more silent this time to make sure that he hears every single word that you say. Sometimes he would say something, to make you feel heard, not always the right thing but he would try.

Afterwards you would work together to get a better relationship.

Legolas; He would argue with you about your safety because he wouldn't always be there. Also there would be arguments about his father.

Even though he does know that his father has flaws, he does look up to him. Like with Tauriel he would stand up for you to him. The argument would get out of hand if you did something particularly dangerous. He would be more stern to you and put on his 'prince' face.

Especially because he has already lost his mother.

When you threaten to leave, he would try and talk to you. He wouldn't show all of his emotions, keep them to himself, but he would follow and track you down if you did actually leave.

Not that he would let it go that far. The argument wouldn't be talked about soon because he would give you your space. It could take some time to settle this one.
