Breaking through the bushes, Maria ran as fast as she could. She clutched a celestial bronze dagger as she breathed heavily. She couldn't die now. No way she could. Her parents would be devastated. Her papa, Nico Di Angelo, a Son of Hades, would take it the worst. He had already suffered his Sister and his Mother's deaths. I'm almost there, I'm almo— Maria thought as she ran across a clearing.

"ROAAAAARR!!" A loud sound came from behind Maria. The Minotaur. It charged towards Maria, it's hands flailing wildly. Just then, Maria tripped. She was now on the ground, badly injured and now the Minotaur was glaring down at her. The Minotaur smirked. It's hands smashed down and Maria screamed as loud as she could. She closed her eyes and curled up, waiting for extreme pain. But it never came. An arrow flew into the Minotaur's body with a swoosh as it flew past Maria. A few footsteps and a bloody stab sound was heard. Maria opened her eyes to see a pair of Minotaur horns lying in gold dust. She looked around and saw Uncle Frank and Aunt Hazel. Frank was holding a bow and Hazel held an Imperial Gold spatha.

"U...Uncle Frank? Aunt Hazel?" Maria said in awe. "You're... You're demigods!"

"What? You didn't know? I thought... That dagger...Will and Nico didn't tell you?" Frank looked utterly confused.

"No... They only told me that I was a demigod..." Maria said.

"C'mon, we'll get you to camp. I think your parents are here. Why are you out here anyways?" Hazel asked

"I...I kind of came here myself..."

"Oh boy, Solangelo will be angry." Frank laughed. Maria knew that Solangelo was her parents 'ship' name. Maria laughed along. Soon, everyone was laughing.

When they reached the camp, they went straight to the infimary. Maria was certainly In a bad shape. Her black leggings were torn. Her ombré ponytail was messed up. She had cuts everywhere. The trio stopped at the front door. Frank, who was holding the two Minotaur horns, said "Well, I'm going to give this to Percy, I think he'll like it." And then he ran towards the cabins.

"Uncle Percy's a demigod too?!" Maria asked. Hazel giggled.

"Of course, your parents' closest friends were all demigods. We should get in."

Inside, Maria saw her Father, Will Solace talking to Reyna. Hazel coughed. Will turned around and his eyes widened. Reyna turned around and followed Will's gaze.

"Maria Bianca Solace! Why are you here? Why are you so... bloody?" Will asked.

"I...I'm sorry... you and papa told me about being a demigod, I wanted to come follow you, it sounded so cool, I...I followed you..." Maria said, tears forming in her eyes. Will rushed forward and hugged her. Maria winced, but relaxed shortly. She hugged back.

"Maria, don't you dare scare us like that again." Will said firmly and stroked her head gently. "but now, lets get you cleaned up, shall we?"

Just then, a golden light shone on Maria. Hovering on top of her head was a symbol of a lyre- Apollo's symbol. Will stumbled back.

"Madre de dios..." Will mumbled in Italian. Over the years, Will had picked up some some Italian from Nico. "My...my Sister..."

Everyone in the room was taken aback. Will's daughter was his half-sister.

Reyna cleared her throat. "We'll get her cleaned up, then let's go to the big house to talk, alright?"

And that's how I met Frazel.
