Aye, it's my birthday tomorrow, and since I've got the time, I'll make a short chapter! Also, I'll be removing the Hiatus and adding chapters almost every weekend. I dont do full promises, okay?

Mikki Anstell's P.O.V
"No one likes you! You're just a brat!" Joey, my bully shouted. He punched me, and I felt pain searing into my body. My nose bled and I screamed in agony.
"Shut up! No one can save you!" He bellowed. Suddenly, a blue hairbrush hit him in the eye. He screamed and rubbed his eyes.
"Stay away from her!" A girl's voice shouted. I was surprised. In this hidden alley, I didn't realise anyone could find me. I adjusted my self in a more comfortable position and saw the red haired girl.
"Oh, please, I won't be beaten by the likes of you!" Joey sneered.
"Try me," the girl said in an angry tone "I've got moves." Joey screamed a battle cry and charged towards her. The girl didn't move till the last second. She sidestepped and punched Joey, and kneed him in his weak spot. Joey doubled over, groaning in pain. Then she kicked his knees and made him kneel.
"Do you yield?" She said in a medieval accent.
Joey burst into tears, saying 'Yes' a hundred times. Satisfied, she headed over to me. She held out a hand and said, "Hey, I'm Rachel. You okay?" Shocked, I nodded.
"How- how did you find this place anyways?" I asked.
"I have my ways," she winked and handed me a business card. "Don't get beaten up, call me if you need a Friend." And she walked away, twirling her blue hairbrush and whistling.
I looked at the card, and I realised that sometimes, not all people are that bad. I just had to go home now, and face the music of David, my abusive foster parent. I winced at the thought of that.
Stop it, brain. I chided myself.
And that's how I met Rachel Elizabeth Dare
