Chapter 1

Rains Pov:

Its been four years since everything bad happened in my life. I was finally in a good place again, with great people surrounding me. Today was vidcon and there was so many people/fans here. I was so excited to meet my friends and some youtubers like me. I had been texting a good friend of mine James Charles. Ever since I started to post my videos, he was right there supporting me 100%. He was a beauty influencer and did makeup videos. He was so good and has taught me a lot. When he reached out to me and I ended up telling him the story about him and James was super sweet. I ended up moving in with him and we became roommates. California was nothing like Florida, there was so many people here some were nice and some weren't.

I've came a long way in the past couple years. I gained 3 million followers and started posting new videos every week. My fans were a huge part of my life since I moved to California. I kinda dropped everyone and everything and left the only home I've ever known. Except it didn't feel like home anymore after he ruined it all for me.

"RAIN!" James screamed

"sorry I drifted off again" I said

"its okay, you've been doing that a lot lately" James said sadly

" Im sorry, Im just nervous for my speech today"

We were at vidcon and I was going to be giving a speech/Q&A with my fans. Which I was super nervous about since I didn't want to wright down a cookie cutter speech. I wanted to speak from the heart.

" your doing it again" James said annoyed

"sorry" I playfully smacked him. " lets go meet some you-tubers!" i said excitedly.

" I've got just the guys" James said with a smirk. Oh god that can not be a good sign at all. James is a social butterfly and has many friends in the you-tubing community. I however didn't really care for social hours. My music said it all. I just haven't been able to get out of my comfort zone.

"Rain this is Grayson and Ethan Dolan" James singsonged.

I forgot we were even walking, I have got to stop zoning out. I looked up from the ground and My jaw literally hit the ground. Im pretty sure I heard it hit the ground. Standing in front of me were the most beautiful pair of twins I have ever seen. James pointed out Ethan and he smiled at me. But when james introduced me to Grayson, my heart stopped. He was so cute and his smile was so contagious.

"Hi Rain" Ethan said louder. Shit, I did it again.

"Sorry she zones out a lot" James laughed.

"james..." i scolded.

I looked up at Grayson and he smiled at me and Im pretty sure I just melted.

"Hey sorry, Im Rain"

"we've actually seen some of your videos. They are really good." Ethan said.

"thank you. I thought they were shit but other people enjoy them and thats all that matters" I said half jokingly

They both started to laugh and which made me start to giggle. James however was not so amused. He knows I was half serious and hates when I talk negative about them or myself. I dont do it very often but if I do all hell breaks loose.

" You're funny too" Ethan said

"James doesn't think so" i said laughing

"don't start with me today, Im in a good mood" James said

I looked up at Grayson and wondered why he hasn't said anything yet. Maybe he doesn't talk or he doesn't think im worth his time to converse with. Im a little disappointed with my thoughts and actually frown. When he sees me frown his smile falters.

"well I guess we should be going, Have a good day" i said while turning around to walk away

"wait!" I heard a voice assuming it was ethan but when i turned around it was grayson.

"Yeah?" i asked. a little confused

" When will we see you again, what section are you in?" he asked

"she will actually be doing a speech and Q&A in the west wing, you guys should totally come check it out" james said as i looked at him ready to tackle him.

"we'd love to" Grayson said with a smile.

"Great see you in an hour" James said dragging me by the arm.

I was a little upset after grayson was out of view but its for the best. He is just a guy and those don't exist in my life anymore. Except James but for obvious reasons.
