Chapter 17

Grayson:

"shes been out there for a while" E said.

"She looks so peacful" I said. I loved how she never stopped smiling when she got here. I also loved how I felt being here. Me and E felt at home here like the air was so different so alive. We belonged here but we would make a lot of people upset if we moved all the way out here. We wouldn't see family enough and it would cause a lot of drama.

"I'll go get her and see if she wants to go out with us" I said making my way out to the porch. When I opened the door I could hear her singing. I never really got a chance to hear her sing in person so I just sat there listening. Her voice was beautiful and smooth. She looked up and saw me but kept singing. I went and sat on the hammock next to her while she finished up the song.

"What song was that" I asked.

"A thousand years" She said.

"It just might be my new favorite song. How come you never sing in front of me or an audience?" I asked

" I never really had the confidence. Making videos is different because I get to hide behind a camera but in front of people I'm vulnerable and out in the open. I was afraid I might not be good enough for shows. I got some offers but turned them down. I just didn't think I could do it but since being with you everything for me has changed. I want to open up and be myself." She said.

I grabbed her chin and kissed her hard. "You mean a lot to me too" I kissed her again. "Do you want to go out with us to grab something to eat and get some groceries" I asked.

"I think I'm just going to stay here and shower and relax. I'm super tired" She said yawning.

"alright. I'll bring you home some food and you can text me a list of some things you want from the store" I said kissing her goodbye.

Me and E ended up getting pizza which isn't a surprise since we always eat pizza. We went to the store and got a bunch of fruit and easy things to make. We mostly got snacks and things since we will probably be going out a lot on this trip. I got some aloe and sun tanning lotion for Rain. We got some stuff for videos we plan on filming.

" I think you should get some of these" E said pointing at condoms. I shook my head and laughed.

"I don't think I do" I said

"Are you kidding she has been all over since we got here. If you don't get them now you'll regret it. Just in case something happens and you need them" He said grabbing them anyway.

"Whatever dude. I need to grab her some flip flops and shampoo and body wash" I said walking towards the isle. I picked out stuff that smelled like coconuts which is what she always smells like. I love it and it reminds me of this place. When we got home I didn't see Rain outside anymore so I looked in our bedroom and found her sleeping. I quietly put all the things away and told E goodnight. When I got inside the room I went into the shower. I decided to use the shampoo I got rain just because I love the smell. When I was done I put on sweatpants and got into the bed. She turned around and wrapped her body around mine.

"You smell really good" She moaned Kissing my chest.

"Its your shampoo. I really like it" I sighed

" Me too smells like the beach" She cuddled in closer and with that she fell back asleep.
