Chapter 3

Rains Pov:

I was walking out on the stage so nervous but ready to conquer these questions.

" Hey everyone" I screamed. Everyone started hollering and yelling. I almost started crying seeing all these people here to talk to me and get to know me.

"My name is Rain, if you didn't know and I make youtube videos about my life and I sing" I said and everyone was quiet waiting for me to go on. Huh this might be easier then I thought. I started talking about my life as a youtuber and how I film. I avoided questions about my family and where i came from.

"RAIN RAIN" someone in the back said raising her hand and I picked on her to ask her questions.

"Rain you never talk about your personal life or past boyfriends, are you hiding something from your fans?" . I started to get flash backs and started to feel really hot and shaky. I turned around and did some breathing exercises I learned from my therapist. Eventually I calmed down enough to answer the question to the best of my ability.

" I believe some things should be personal and don't need to be shared with the world. Though I care about you all very much and consider you all my family but sometimes you still have to keep things private"

"thats enough questions for today thank you"

I started to make my way down the stage and spotted James with the dolan twins. I statred to turn around and walk away when I heard my name being called. I looked and saw it was Grayson. oh boy im in trouble.

"hey that speech and answer was amazing" he said as he approached me.

"Thanks. I froze up a few times but it was just stage fright." I said knowing I was lying to him and myself.

"Yeah I get it sometimes to. It helps having E by myside" he said "what are you and james doing tonight? i was going to see if you guys wanted to go to the beach or watch a movie" he asked and as much as i would love to hang out with him I just couldn't. It was just trouble waiting to happen.

"We actually have to go check into the hotel in town and then I have plans" i said lying to him again. Man i was getting good at lying lately.

"oh yea me and E have to check in our hotel too" he said as Ethan and James approached us.

"What hotel are you guys staying ask" Ethan asked

"We are staying at the Martin Hotel off 6th street" James said.

"cool so are we! We will have to hang out" Ethan said

"Totally!" james said way to excitedly.

I couldnt dyop looking at Grayson as he was talking in the little group. He was so handsome and his voice was so kind. He radiated good vibes. So I decided I would chill out a little. Not everyone is like him and not every guy is going to hurt me. I looked at grayson again and he looked down and smiled at me. His smile was probably my favorite thing about him because it just gave a sense of security and it felt like home.

"On second thought, Grayson would you like to come surf with me later?" i asked suddenly feeling brave.

"Id love to, that sounds awsome. Ill meet you at 4?"

"sounds perfect see you then" i said.
