3rd person;
sean dolan died at 11:11 a.m. he was very close to the age of 54, just 2 months away.cameron was sobbing of the cause of her fathers death.
they all knew it was coming, they didn't just think it would be that painful to see there father laying there, lifeless.
lisa, sean's wife, was out of control miserably. she was sobbing like she was alone, kicked doors and punched walls.
although women aren't usually found as tough, lisa destroyed the third floor of the seattle hospital.
papers were everywhere on the floor, at least one hole in each room, and her hair was sticking up with black lines of mascara down her cheeks.
her eyes were red, they were watery, and she finally made a conclusion.
"we will not have a funeral for my husband. his death is just a horrible, terrible memory. but his presence is going to be with us forever."
"but mom-" grayson started.
"i will no longer tolerate this, it's better for everyone to keep their mind off of it. now, if you'll excuse me, i'm going to sincerely go clean up the disaster i've caused." lisa sniffed and wiped her tears one last time, then walked out of the hospital room.
aviana never realized how much it hurt to see such a wonderful man simply have their souls taken out of them.
she had completely forgotten about her brothers waiting for her, they'd ought to be waiting for her for about half 'an hour.
she said her goodbyes to everyone, well, except for ethan.
"ethan, could we-" aviana was cut off by ethan, they both had a ridiculous amount of tears down their faces.
"yeah, let's go." his large, long fingers latched onto her small, long fingers as they dragged her into the corridor.
"i'm so sorry for your loss, ethan-"
"stop apologizing. cancer was the one that fucking decided to kill him." ethan ran his fingers through his hair as he roughly, aggressively wiped away his tears.
"well, would you-"
"yes, i'll go out with you." ethan tried to smile a real one, but it was too small.
"great. i'll uh text you whenever when i can. bye, ethan." aviana's warm lips made such beautiful contact with ethan's cold cheek.
"b-bye aviana." ethan replied one last time, before aviana disappeared into the corridor of the hospital.
aviana thought to herself, "i'm definitely falling for ethan. hopefully he won't have to find out about it. ever."
"aviana is way, way too good for me. there's no way she even feels the same way. gleefully, he will never find out about our thing." ethan thought to himself.
"there you are! where were you, aviana?" brian, james, and aidan all approached aviana with worried looks on their faces.
"visiting an old friend." she mutters quietly.
"don't ever think twice about leaving us like that again just to visit a friend, you hear me?!" james yells.
a couple of head turned, most likely from nurses in the office.
"james, that friend was-" aviana tried but he did let her explain.
"no, i don't give a shit about that friend! that friend is no better than us, better yet useless!" james shouts.
"c'mon, j, hear her out-" aidan defended aviana but, once again, james wouldn't give in.
"you will no longer visit that friend because of your stupid decisions! we almost called the fucking cops, aviana!"
"james, james, calm down-" brian pleaded but lastly, he didn't listen.
aviana looked at her brother in fear. she didn't see him as the funny, sweet brother anymore.
she saw him as the crazy, asshole brother. her eyes watered. her knees trembled. her fists balled.
"james, that friend-"
"no! i don't give two damns about your stupid friend so shut the hell up about that pathetic motherfucker!" those words were like knives being thrown into her heart.
james was saying so many hurtful things about sean, yet he didn't even know him.
then, reality hit aviana. james was a monster. and in the random, when it came to monsters, she thought of ian.
"james, that 'pathetic motherfucker' is one of my best friends' father! but guess what?! he's dead!" aviana finally got out. a small droplet escaped from her eyelids and rolled down her soft cheek.
"if you weren't yelling at me about not being able to visit him, then i would've been sobbing my eyes out! look, i know you're hurting but that doesn't mean you have to take out all your frustration on me!" she looked to her right, to catch a small glance of a body staring at her.
she couldn't really see the face, but ignores it immediately.
"i've fallen for a complete asshole that makes me smile and laugh, and his father is dead right now. his father is laying in a hospital bed, with the soul taken away from his body by cancer.." and when aviana blurted out those words, she knew she was talking about ethan.
she turned to her right again, to see ethan. he looked at what was happening between her and her brothers.
his knuckles were white and his fists were balled, his jaw was clenched, his face turned red, and he had a vein popping out of his forehead. ethan clearly didn't like the way james was speaking to her, better less the way he treated her in those last five minutes.
he hardly appreciated the fact of how brian and aidan stood up for her, but now, he just wanted to beat the living shit out of james. no matter what the cost.
