i didn't have any pics to put in this chapter so enjoy his perfectly, beautifully, amazingly, structured jawline. fml bruh

"ethan! what do you think you're doing?" i heard grayson's voice down the hall.

"someone's hurting her!" i said one last time, wiping my eyes from crying and punching the door.

"it's okay. relax. probably a bad dream or something."

"but she needs me!"

"ethan, chill. she's probably just-" grayson was cut off by another one of her painful, heartbreaking screams.

my heart was literally aching in pain; like a sharp needle was cutting straight through my heart.

"we have to help her!" i yelled as i took a couple of steps back, then charging the door and broke it down.

my heart was literally torn into millions of pieces of the picture in front of me; ian, one of my best friends, was hovering over her, with his knuckles bloody. james, her older brother, sat on the couch, smiling as he watched aviana suffer. aviana cried, groaned, screamed, at every hit ian was giving her; she was half naked, bruises down her arms, blood from her stomach down, and scratches all over her beautiful face. tears were streaming down her face.

"get the fuck off her!" i charged ian and tackled him to the floor. he groaned as he fell to the floor, and i threw punches one by one onto his face.

i turned to look at aviana, and my sister was helping her up, as she limped her way up.

ian found the perfect time to push me there, and i knocked onto the wood tile floor. he was now throwing punches.

i couldn't do it; i punched his rib and he screeched in pain, as he fell to the floor.

"you don't deserve anything of her!" i punched his jaw, and he suddenly just stopped fighting.

"she's way too good for anything of you." i spat, then pulled him back up from the floor.

i grabbed his collar to push him against the wall; catching a glance of his broken face. he had blood in between his teeth, and a purple eye with his face bloodshot.

"if you dare to fucking lay another finger on her, you'll be sorry. the crazy thing is, you knew i was going out with her after you broke her. you wanted the worst to come out of me for her to be scared of me, and it worked, at least i think. but guess what? we used to be best friends. crazy, right?" i explain and ian smirked.

"incredibly crazy." he spat, then i punched him one last time before dragging him out into the hallway.

"go away, ian. come near her and i'll kill you with my bare hands if i have to." i stared him long and hard, then he just stormed off.

i made my way back to the broken apartment (aviana's), and grayson was punching the shit out of james.

i'm sorry, avi. things just have to be done. and if that means for grayson to beat your brother's ass, i'm truly sorry, precious.

"she's your fucking sister, and you just watch her suffer! what are you?" grayson screamed as he threw punches, but james didn't fight back.

he just bent over as grayson fought, and i tilted my head in confusion.

"whoa whoa, gray, hold up." i separated the two and looked at james; he looked at lot worse than ian.

"what is it with you two just beating me up?" james weakly asked.

"okay, we might be twins. but we did it for a reason. i only did it because you can't just scream at your sister for visiting someone who died in the hospital." i admit.
