Chapter 11-Keep holding on

Kurts P.O.V

i look down at the boy breaking down and sobbing into my chest. His breathing keeps hitching as to get air, almost like he doesn't want to even breathe. I rub his lower back trying to get him to calm down a bit and making sure its lower from his shoulder blades leaving a good amount of room so i don't touch his burn.

I look up and Sam and Finn are standing at the doorway looking confused and worried. All of a sudden he jerks away shaking and wincing. "Easy Noah its just me. I'm not gonna hurt you and I'm sure as hell not going to let anybody else hurt you either." He reluctantly nods and curls up to me again with him on his good side and his head on my chest.

After a few minutes his breathing evens out and small snores escape the now peaceful looking boy. I smile at how cute he looks but frown when i think of how much pain he must be in.

I feel Noah's phone vibrate on the side table and go to check it. I turn on the cover since i don't need to know his password to just read

Hey manwhore. You're late for your twice a week dose of me. If you don't come to my house by tonight Kurt won't have the money for his school and your hopeless precious crush will be forced to come back here and i will make sure the jocks give him the grand welcome of the century.

I glare at the message. I can't believe Noah would do this. He did all this for me, wait did David call me his crush? What...but... no..... Noah isn't gay? I mean didn't he date and sleep with every girl at school. That's what his reputation is based on isn't it?

Another vibrating feeling takes me out of my thoughts

Omg is Rachel Berry seriously.... ugh Noah may be hurting right now and is probably worse then he has ever been but i know he would definitely not sink down as low as to be with Rachel.

I feel movement and look down to see Noah's amazing eyes look up at me. They instantly go wide mixed of shock and horror. I'm guessing from realizing he fell asleep on me and was all cuddled up to me.

In all honestly i kind of liked the feeling but i know Puck is in a vulnerable and emotional state right now and I'm not going to be a jackass and tease him. I'm going to be there for him and support him through this. I will make sure he knows he is not alone in all those.

"It's okay Noah. You're safe" i feel him almost instantly relax into me and his breathing slows slightly. Finn walks over finally not being a creeper stalker and hands Puck a Turkey Club. That sandwich looks too good to be hospital food and it doesn't look burnt from my angle so Finn couldn't have made it.

"Here Carole brought some food for us" i smile as Puck takes it but watch as he puts it to the side. I just notice now how skinny he really is. Yes he is muscular but he has lost too much weight and that could be another factor to why he is so pale.

"No Noah please at least take a few bites. You need energy and strength in you. You're too skinny." He shakes his head at my comment and doesn't move. I sigh at how childish he is acting but since i want him to be better and I'm going to make sure he gets better part of that is making sure he is healthy so the healing process speeds up.

I grab the sandwich and rip a chunk off and holding it in front of his face. He backs up like he's afraid. I look at the sandwich and notice it has tomato and mayo. I chuckle and he looks at me with a slight pout which is honestly adorable.
