chapter 2: The blue lion and Voltron

Your P.O.V

The three of you walked in side to find that Lance, hunk, and pidge were up. Keith walked over to a board covered with a sheet and pulled the sheet off.

"This is what I have been working on since I left the Garrison." There was pictures of ancient carvings, maps, and some other stuff. You even saw a picture of you and him pinned to the top right corner away from everything else. You smirked to yourself and countiued to listen. "I have been feeling this weird energy in the desert and followed it till I found this cave with markings telling a story about a blue lion."

"You felt a energy?.... And followed it to find carvings about a blue lion?" Lance asked with a tone that said 'are you insane'.

"Yeah." Keith said looking at Lance with a face that said 'are you stupid I just said that'.

"Ooook" Lance said.

"So I was looking through pidge's stuff and found a picture of him and his girlfriend." Hunk held up a picture of Matt and pidge, but it's understandable that he thought it was pidge and someone else.

"Wait what!! You went through my stuff!!!???" Pidge yelled and took the photo.

"Anyway while I was looking through his dairy I found ...." Hunk rambled on about some science stuff but you weren't really paying the most attention because you were focused on the cave markings. Something about them... You were kind of draw to them. You also began to feel this energy.

"Sorry to interrupt but two things. One hunk that is our recording notebook not a dairy and second are the markings that way Keith?" You pointed to were you felt the energy coming from.

"Yeah how did you know?" Keith asked confused.

"I can feel it too." You simply stated not giving much thought to how weird everything was. For God's sake there was aliens, weird energy, and cave carvings telling a story of a giant blue lion.

"Um ok.. your both crazy, but let's follow the crazy energy anyway." Lance said. "It's not like we have something better to do." He added as he turned to hunk. "Do you think you can track whatever you were talking about?" Lance asked. You guessed Lance doesn't get science stuff.

"Ok let's go adventuring then. I'm grabbing my stuff in case we find cool alien stuff and go to space." Pidge said kind of excited.

"I'm right there with you Pidge!" You say grabbing your stuff.

You had walked for awhile now and your feet were starting to hurt but you weren't going to complain. Suddenly Keith stopped and pointed.

"Right there. That's the cave. Inside are the markings." He started walking again. You were so excited and intrigued that you ran to the cave with Keith speed walking behind you followed by the others. When you reached the cave it was smaller and kind of dark. You started wiping off markings. When you touched them you swore you saw them light up a very light white for a split second. You though you might be seeing things so you said nothing. Everyone else was in the cave at this point. Lance walked over to a marking at the back of the cave and started to wipe it off. Suddenly that marking and all the rest started to glow blue. Then you begin to hear cracking.

"Oh no" was all you could get out before the ground under all of you broke and you fell down a steep natural water slide. It ended by letting you fall off into water. You landed on top of Keith, pidge was thrown over hunk, Lance was face down in water, and shiro landed right on his ass. "Well that was an unexpected ride." You said getting off of Keith and helping him up. You over and see everyone else's situation and burst out laughing. "Oh my God.. Lance you landed on you face and shiro you landed on your ass." You said dying with laughter.
