Chapter 8: special

After the ship was destroyed you disbanded (not sure if that's the right word) and headed back to the surface. Once you were there you saw Allura and coran coming out of the castle. You land snow and she left you out. Walking out you could hear hunk throwing up. Poor hunk. You keep walking till you meant up with the rest of the team. "Good job team that was awesome! Wait where's Lance?" You noticed he wasn't with everyone else.

"Ummm..... I'm here.. still in my lion." Lance said through the communicator.

"Um ok why?" Everyone was a little confused.

"Umm...... I maybe a little.. stuck." Lance said sheepishly. You started laughing along with pidge and hunk. Allura giggled, coran chuckled, and Keith smirked.

"Guys. Focus we need to help Lance." Shiro said smiling.

"Did you try asking blue to let you out?" You ask snickering.

"YEAH! Of course I did!" Lance said flustered. 'you should go talk to blue.' Blue won't listen to me. 'you are the heart of Voltron if you concentrate hard enough you will be able to have a conversation with any of the lions.' Okay I'll try. You walk over to blue's paw reaching out to touch it. You focus all your attention and energy on talking to blue. As soon as you touch blue's paw you heard her. Blue was mad because Lance didn't thank her or say she did good. Basically he didn't give blue attention and that made her mad because if she didn't get attention she felt like no one cared and that she was worthless. Just sitting there doing her job to the best of her ability and not getting recognized for her work. ( Sound like anyone else we know?)

"Hey, hey, blue it's ok. Don't worry I will talk to him, but if you want a strong bond with him you two need to voice your concerns to each other. You need to understand each other." You say comforting blue. While you were talking you don't hear the conversation going on behind you.

Keith's P.O.V

I saw (Y/N) walking up to blue while the rest of us talked about what to do. I didn't say anything, but continued to watch her to see what she was doing. She walked up and touched blue's paw. Lance suddenly piped up. "Umm guys what's (Y/N) doing?.. because blue's no longer responding at all." Everyone else looked over to her. "Keith do you know? You were the first person to notice?" Lance asked making all the attention turn to me.

"Ummm I don't know. I just saw her walk over and was wondering what she was doing." I said still watching her. I was a little worried, but mostly confused.

"Should we get her?" Hunk asks with a worried tone. Allura steps forward and puts her hand up to stop him.

"Don't... There's something we didn't tell you about the white palidin yet. They are connected to the lions and can talk to all of them. We didn't say anything because it took a decade for the original white palidin to get that skill let alone master it. I believe that's what she's doing now. I think she is taking to the blue lion." Allura says looking at (Y/N). Suddenly (Y/N) says something.

"Hey, hey, blue it's ok. Don't worry I will talk to him, but if you want a strong bond with him you two need to voice your concerns to each other. You need to understand each other." She said with a caring tone. All of the sudden there was a purring sound coming from blue. We all looked at each other. (Y/N) turned around with a smile on her face. "Lance try talking to her now." After a second blue's head lowered and lance walked out. Blue closed her mouth but didn't lift her head like the others.

"You ok girl?" Lance asked concern in his voice.

"Aww blue your adorable." (Y/N) said then went and rubbed her head. She purred and then lifted up her head once (Y/N) walked away. But I wasn't really thinking about that all I could think is no (Y/N) your adorable..... WAIT WHAT!!... Did I just.. no.. do I?.... No no no I don't.... Maybe I do.... No Keith stop thinking about this!!! I unintentionally blushed. I must be tomato red. Oh God help me.

I'm so sorry this is late I got caught up in a book and had testing. But school is almost done so yeah. But as always thanks for reading and I will see you in the next chapter.
