chapter 3: The castle and the princess

Ahead of you there was a beautiful castle. It looked kind of abandoned or at least old. Something was telling you that you needed to land and go inside.

"I think we need to land." You and Lance said simultaneously. He looked at you and you looked at him.

"Why do you think that?" Lance asked you.

"Why do you?" You answered his question with a question because that was the Ron swanson thing to do. ( Parks and recreation reference)

"My lion told me. You?" He looked at you with a look of try to beat that.

"Something told me to. The same thing that said to go through the wormhole. I don't know who or what it is but for some reason I trust it." You responded. Yeah I totally beat his reason

"Um ok then." Lance said flying the blue lion closer to the ground heading towards the castle. Once we landed you were the first one out followed by ( in order) Keith, shiro, Lance, Pidge, then hunk. Once you all walked out the lion picked up it's head and closed it's mouth, so it was in a sitting position. You all started to walk up to the giant doors when suddenly the blue lion roared causing the doors to open. You all walked in. There was stairs in the massive greeting room.

"I thought for a lion that big the steps would be bigger." Pidge said looking at the steps.

"Pidge I don't think that the steps are for the giant robotic blue lion outside." You stated. "They're most likely for whomever owns and/or made it"

"Good point." Pidge said smiling. Then suddenly a scanner came form the celling and started to scan all of you.

"Who are you? What do you want?" Shiro asked in a demanding tone.

"Shiro I'm pretty sure it's just a scanner to see who we are and make sure we aren't a security threat." You said when suddenly lights turned on in one of the hallways. "I guess we are going that way." You say heading down the hall with the others following you. Eventually you walk in to a room with circles on the floor and what looked like a control panel in the middle of the room in front of the circles. Abruptly two circles rose from the ground reveling two pods with a young woman and older man in them.

"Ar-are they dead?" Hunk asks as one of the pods open. The young woman inside opens her eyes falling forward saying " father!". Luckily Lance was there to catch her.

"Well hello" Lance said in a flirty voice. And there went that gratitude you had in him.

"Who are you and were am I?" The yong woman asked clearly dazed from whatever type of long sleep state she was in.

"I'm Lance and you are right here in my arms." oh my God lance. you face plamed. You couldn't take it anymore.

"Lance stop. Hello I'm (Y/N) this is shiro, pidge, Keith and hunk." You said pointing to each one. "We were brought here to what I assume is your castle by a giant mechanical blue lion. Witch I also assume is yours. We are from planet Earth." You said softly and kindly.

"Oh that explains the ears. I'm princess Allura from planet altea. Your are correct this is my castle and the blue lion along with the other lions of Voltron belong to me." The princess said after getting out of Lance's arms. She walked over to the control panel and put her hands on it causing a holographic screen to appear.

"Oh so that's how it works." Pidge comments.

"I need to figure out how long we have been asleep and what planet the castle is currently on. Oh and... Here" Allura hit a button and the other pod opened letting a ginger haired older man to fall out. Luckily he cought himself before he could hit the ground. "Coran... Altea and all the other planets in our solar system have been destroyed." Allura said turning to coran with tears in her eyes. She then hugged him. "Father and all the other alteans are gone... We are the only ones left." She said crying. All of the sudden you hear squeaking noises. You head over to the pods and see 4 colorful kind of odd looking mice. They must be altean mice. You picked them up then walked towards the princess.
