Those blissful deaths of infatuation,
Crumbled in moments of lone affection,
scaffolding ripped walls down to flooded basement,
years building mine haven...
lost about searing flames & wild emblazon;
look around world shaken,
yet –
your detaching won't gain cessation,
heart still beats the night with fierce lunation,
a truth spirals before eyes graven,
I am...
my own,
salvation.
