I gave up,
When you let everything go.
I said enough,
Protect what's left of disintegrating soul.
I prayed love,
Don't leave me here crippled in this hole.
I became rust,
Rattling the cage... towering shade of the suns glow.
I wailed unjust,
Battling just why an authentic heart was impossible to hold.
I grip star-dust,
Dreaming knights weren't of stories told.
I wished above,
Night after day... he'd come place the part that has been slowed.
