~Red's POV

I've noticed her sadness when we talked about the fair. She was about to cry, but she held it in. She just smiled warmly at me. I didn't ask her about it.

I got home already. "Hey dude..." Lucky greeted me. "Hey," I said. I noticed that we are the only ones in the dorm. Lucky was sitting on the sofa watching TV. "Lucky, where did they go?" I asked him. "River went out to buy strings for his guitar. Then Zedrick went to a fan meet."

Lucky answered without even glancing at me. "Why are you here? Don't you have something to do too?" I asked him again. "Nope, I'm too lazy to move. I'll just relax here and watch TV." He said and lay on the sofa.

I went to my room. I lay on my bed. The memories of Gianne and my date flashed into my head. I smiled unknowingly.

Suddenly my room's door swung open. "RED!" Zedrick barged into my room and jumped on me. "What the?! ZEDRICK!" I yelled at him. "I saw a bass guitar. It's awesome." He exclaimed. "You went all the way here, jumped on me just to tell me that?" I said emotionless.

"Yeah!" he said happily. "I just came to tell you that. Bye!" then he left. Seriously, what's wrong with that kid? Then I felt my eyelids got heavier, and I drifted off to sleep.

Then morning came. The sun shone on my face through a little space from my window that has curtains. I planned to call Gianne so we can go to school together. In a few rings, she answered fast. "Yes Red?" she answered me with a sleepy voice. "Good morning babe. Did I wake you up?" I said sweetly. "Yeah... So what's up?" she said. "I was wondering if you want to go to school together?" I told her.

"Sure. Let's meet up in-" I cut her off. "I'll go to your house." I said. "No, we can-" I cut her off again. "I'm going there and I won't take a no for an answer. Bye!" I ended the call. I still heard her disapproval.

I got up from my bed and did my morning routine. I quickly showered and wore my uniform. I went out of my room with a smile plastered on my face.

"What's up with your smile?" Lucky asked. "I'm going to school." I told him. "Really? You're happy because of that?" River butted in. "Yeah, you're smiling like a dog because of that? I don't believe you." Zed added. Before they could fire me tons of questions, I ran as fast as I could to the door. I heard River blabbering, but I'm too happy to be annoyed by them.

-----Time Skip-----

I'm in front of Gianne's house. I pushed the doorbell and waited for someone to open the door. After a few minutes, the door was opened by a girl that looks like Gianne, but I think she's older. "Oh- hi! Jared right?" the girl said. "Uhmm... Yeah." I rubbed the back of my neck. "Oh, yeah, I forgot to introduce myself. I'm Ginny. Mina's older sister." She extended her hand for a handshake. I gladly took it and shook it.

Then she turned her back and yelled, "Mina! Jared's here!" she smiled at me and gestured me to come inside. I heard footsteps running down the stairs. Then I saw a breathless Gianne in front of me.

"You didn't have to run. We got more time." I patted her back. "I thought we were late already." She said as she regained her breath. She looks cute.

We said our goodbyes to her sister and went off to school. I kept glancing at her while we were walking. "Am I that beautiful, Red?" she said that made me blush. "Hahaha! Your face is so red. It suits your name." She giggled. "Hey! Stop teasing." I nagged.

We kept talking to each other until we reached our school. We walk in with our hands intertwined. They whispered things about us. I know what they were thinking. The question why is she my girlfriend. I'm tired of them judging her. I stopped on my tracks.

"Everyone, listen up! Gianne is my girlfriend. Stop talking trash about her. Stop judging her. You all don't know her. I'm dating her, and there's nothing you can do about it." I said and dragged Mina into our classroom.
