Chapter 19

~Red's POV

"Red, did you hear the news?" Lucky asked. "What news?" I answered. "Anya's back, bro," Zed said. "Who?" I asked curiously. "Anya's back, Red," River said. I'm shocked. She's back? Why? Why now? "I don't know why she came back, but I think she'll be in your school, Red," River answered as if he read my mind. "What? The heck does she have to be there?" I said angrily. "None of us know, dude. Maybe she wants to talk to you," Lucky said. "We have nothing to talk about," I said coldly and went straight to my room.

The next day, I waited for Gianne at the school gates. "Red!" Someone yelled my name. I thought it was my babe who called me, so I smiled brightly. As I turned, I realized it's not her. The smile plastered on my face faded. "Anya." She ran to me and hugged me. The next thing I knew, her lips were on mine. I pushed her away. But as I turned, I saw Gianne....

Her eyes were filled with tears. "Gianne, babe, it's not what you think," I said and ran towards her. I tried to reach her face, but she turned her head away. "Don't," she said in a low tone. "Babe, I can-" she cut me off. "Don't call me that!" I flinched at her yelling. "You... I trusted you... I knew this would happen. I shouldn't have listened to my stupid heart," she said while more tears fell from her eyes.

"Babe, please let me explain." She cuts me off. "No... We're over," she said coldly and turned her heels and walked away from me. I watched her figure as she faded away from my sight. My eyes got blurry.

"So, she was the one who replaced me, huh?" Anya spoke. "You! Why did you do this?" I yelled at her. "Didn't you miss me, Red? I'm back now," she said. "You don't need her," she added. "No! I need her! I love her!" I yelled at the top of my lungs. "No! You're lying. You love me. You just pity her," she retorts. "Pity?! How can you say that? I know what I feel. And I know I love her!" I yelled back.

"No! I won't accept that crap!" Anya yelled back at me. "It's the truth! I don't love you anymore. You left me without even telling me what I did wrong. She, she was the one who filled the empty space you left," I said. "So she's just my replacement then? I'm here now. I'm back, Red. You don't need her now!" she yelled once more. "She didn't replace you. She completed me. And now? You're destroying my world again. I was devastated when you left without any trace. And now you're doing it again. She's my everything now, and because of you...." Tears fell from my eyes.

"She left me..." I sobbed uncontrollably.

Then I felt myself being patted on the back. I saw River behind me. "I'll take it from here, Red. I'll explain it to her."

Lucky pulled me into our van. I sat next to Zed. No one dared to ask me what happened. Lucky signaled our driver to go. The driver nodded, and we went off. The car ride was silent. Even Zed, who usually makes our van lively, didn't utter a single word. I'm still crying over the pain I feel in my heart. I felt like my chest is pounded repeatedly by a hammer. It hurts so bad.

A few minutes later, we arrived at our dorm. Lucky opened the door for me. I sat on the sofa and put my head in my hands. "I didn't cheat on her. I didn't..." then I felt my tears flowing again. "I know, Red... We all do," Lucky rubbed my back. "I can't lose her. I need her. I love her," I said as my tears flowed like a river.

"How can I explain to her? She didn't even listen to me." I sobbed. I know men shouldn't cry. But I really love Gianne this much. I can't imagine my life without her by my side. "You'll get her back. But give her the space she needs," Zed said. "We'll help you, Jared, don't worry." Lucky added. Then Zed patted my shoulders. "Thanks," I said to them. I stood out of my seat and went to my room.

My feelings for Gianne gave me an idea. I hope my plan would work. I hope my feelings would reach her. That she'll let me explain what really happened.

Mina Gianne Lim, I love you, and I'll always will.

Hey yo! This is almost finished. Yay!I'm out of ideas so I'm ending this book. Hahaha! Just kidding. It's finished long time ago. I just got no time to publish.
