Could this possibly be...an update?
Yep! That's exactly what it is! And update that I hope you all will enjoy!
But just a quick note, I looked back at chapter 11 today, and only 2 people had commented...which made me pretty bummed out.

Chapter 12: Hazel
Hazel was hoping for a miracle. Maybe a convenient bolt of lighting from Zeus, or a few undead from her dad.
No such luck. It seemed like the gods were too busy sorting out their schizophrenic needs to save her from imminent death.
Hazel gritted her teeth and held her sword out in front, as Adonis's silky, rich voice echoed throughout the chamber,
"Are you ready Hazel Levesque?"
Quickly, Hazel glanced over at Piper and Frank. Frank was sitting against the wall, his side drenched in blood, and half-shirtless, Piper was using chunks of his shirt to bind his wound. Piper was also looking slightly panicked - as though someone was shooting high velocity smoked hams at her, as opposed to the other way around. Upon catching Hazel's eye, she mouthed something - Hazel was never much good at reading people's lips, but she hoped it was something like Go for it! Or maybe you got this! As opposed to try not to die too painfully, which was definitely what Hazel was advising herself.
Apparently, Adonis wasn't waiting for a cue to begin their 'duel' as he called it, because if not for her powers over precious metals, Hazel would have been skewered. She heard a few clinks - maybe he was switching weapons? Then she sensed a large amount of celestial bronze coming her way, and did the natural thing: screamed and ducked. Whatever the weapon Adonis was using, she felt it barely pass over her head.
"Nicely done," Adonis mused, "but nine minutes left. I wonder...how long can Annabeth last?"
Hazel was starting to get sick of him,
"You know," she said loudly, while dodging another strike, "for the spirit of beauty and rebirth, you're pretty pessimistic," Hazel sensed yet another blow, but this time, she raised her sword and awkwardly blocked it, then swung in the direction she sensed the celestial bronze moving and heard a clang as her sword struck Adonis's.
Maybe she was starting to get the hang of this. Maybe she would get lucky, and would win in time to save Annabeth.
But that was wishful thinking. Hazel suddenly realized that Adonis's sword was moving towards her again - she tried to dodge it, but it caught at her side, and sent her flying into the opposite wall with a nasty crack. Hazel gasped in pain and felt her side, which felt like it had been caught between a hammer and an anvil.
So...not a sword. A club. And from the way it hit her, Hazel would have been prepared to bet it was bigger than her. Groaning, she felt her side, and wondered how many broken ribs she had. Surely one - maybe three? Waves of pain were washing through her body, and it took all of her willpower to stand, clutching at the wall for support.
"Yes," Adonis sneered, "I normally wield swords, Hazel Levesque, but I have come to find that clubs are more...effective against demigods,"
He was close now. So close, Hazel could feel his warm breath on her face - it smelled like wildflowers - and she felt a sudden surge of anger, momentarily forgetting about her busted ribs. So she did the natural thing anyone would do with an enemy uncomfortably close by: she kicked out.
