"You look like a slob." I grin as I pull Boston's tie straight.
"And who made me look like a slob, darling?" He smirks as blood travels to my already heated up cheeks.
I roll my eyes as I pat his collar, "There. Much better."
He leans in and leaves a butterfly kiss on my lips before he takes my hand in his.
"I love you." He whispers.
"I love you more." I smile as I lean onto his shoulder.
We leave the room that our friends have assigned to us, and make our way downstairs to the ballroom. I smile up to Boston a few times, lucky that he, out of all people, is beside me today.
We're in the grand hall that connects to the ballroom when a voice behind us stops us.
"Why you always slaying, girl?" Vanessa grins as I mimic her expression.
"Look at yourself, woman. You look fierce." I laugh as I wrap my arms around her neck, "I have missed you so bad."
"You're not the only one, honey." She whispers back.
"Girl, you're making me cry."
"Group hug!" A voice joins us as two pairs of arms surround us.
I look up to realise they are the two other former Serpents, greatly missed by their writer. I turn around, giving both Jordan and Drew a massive hug each.
"How can it be that I only now realise that I've missed you guys so much?" I sigh as I take my place again next to Boston.
"Honestly, I feel offended right now." Drew fakes being hurt.
"Yeah." Jordan chimes in, "I really thought we were special enough, Georgia."
"But listen..." I sigh, "I've been working really hard on the new movie and it took all of my time.-"
The two guys start laughing right in front of me, which just makes me glare at them.
"You guys are so awful."
I roll my eyes at them before I gesture everyone to go to the party that is being held for the happy couple. The ballroom has been beautifully decorated in a champagne colour, with soft music on the background. I look around to find the real redhead of Riverdale standing together with the ravenhaired actress. I smile as I drag Boston that way.
"A reunion was long overdue, my darlings." I speak up to surprise them.
Both Camila and Madelaine turn to me before they engulf me in a bear hug. We hold onto each other for longer than I expected, and I only noticed when Boston put a hand on my shoulder to grab my attention. I let the two women go and turn to Boston.
"I'm going to say hello to a few people." He smiles at me, "Leave you to catch up with your friends."
"Okay." I smile sweetly before pecking his lips and letting him go.
I turn back to the two actresses whose grins are just massive.
"Well, ain't he a sweetheart." Madelaine giggles.
"You definitely hit the jackpot with that one." Camila adds.
"And don't I know it." I smile.
"So, what's the 4-1-1 on the two of you?" Madelaine asks, "Because last time you said you guys were moving in together and going on a trip to Belgium."
"That's like months ago..." I realise, "Has it really been that long since I saw you?"
They both nod their head as I sigh smiling.
"Well, Boston and I are still living together, juggling between LA and our house in New-Zealand, and we're just really happy together. I am really enjoying the time off right now to just spend time with him."
"Sounds like heaven." Madelaine sighs happily, "I've got the same going on with Travis at the moment."
Camila glares at her as Madelaine just puts her hands up in defence.
"What? Can't I just beam about my own relationship?"
"Of course." Camila reassures, "But we were talking about Georgie's love life."
"Which is perfectly boring, Cami." I say.
"Alright, alright. I'll shut up about it." Camila sighs smiling, "At least your career isn't boring. Now is it true that you might be on the shortlist for an Oscar?"
"One step at the time." I smile.
"Right. You have the Golden Globes first." Madelaine chips in.
"I think I speak for everyone that we were so happy when your movie got nominated for the Golden Globes." Camila grins, "And to think of the fact that you started out in Riverdale, huh? With a lousy group of teenage-slash- twentysomething actors that barely learned those precious lines you wrote."
"I mean, it still amazes me that the episodes turned out okay." I giggle.
Our conversation is cut short when the happy couple arrives in the room. An applause erupts, making them blush and smile widely. The applause eventually dies out as Cole walks up to the microphone.
"Hello, dear family and friends." He begins, "First of all, thank you all for coming. I know that a lot of our friends have busy schedules, and we are delighted to see so many of those people here. When Lil and I got engaged, we knew we wanted to do something like this. A whole week of festivities. We're both very grateful for the journey we've been on so far, and I am happy to continue this journey with her."
"I would also like to say," Lili buds in, "that one of our own has been nominated for the Golden Globes."
They all look at me with massive smiles on their faces. My cheeks are heating up, but I smile back anyways.
"So, not only are we going to celebrate our relationship and marriage. We are also going to enjoy the time we still have left with Georgia now that she's a fancy director."
The crowd applauds and I just smile uncomfortably. I turn slightly towards Boston and hide my face against his shoulder. He shakes a little, probably laughing with me. I eventually look up at him, when I know that not everyone is looking at us anymore, and smile sweetly.
"You really are a fancy director though." He whispers before pecking my lips another time.
