Saturday (Day Firey and Leafy got let out)

Woody's POV

I'm so happy Leafy got let out! I mean she's teaching me how to speak with confidence. I already can say Hello, how are you with confidence, then again, I am 18. It's just now I realised how much of a scaredy cat I am.

"Woody, now I want you to say 'I'm fine, thank you'." Leafy said.

"Ok............I'll try" I replied nervously.

There was a bit of silence. I looked around to see if anyone was there, it was a cool afternoon. The sun was orange and the sky was an orangish-grayish-blue. The wind was lightly blowing and the grass swaying to the 'music' of the wind.

"I'm fine.........I'm fine!!!" I tried saying, I tried to say it quickly to get it over with.

"Are you ok, Woody?" Leafy asked. She was probably tricking me into saying I'm fine. I must say, it worked.

"Yes, I'm fine." I said without realising.

"You said it! You said I'm fine with confidence! You also said it in a sentence! You are really improving fast!" Leafy exclaimed.

"I did! I said it!" I had just said two more phrases out loud without thinking. Once I realised this, I covered my mouth nervously.

"Your saying things on your way own! See, you can do it!" Leafy pointed out, "To test your skill, I want you to talk to TB! On your own."

"On.......my.......own?" I asked in a scared tone, I even gulped.

"Yeah! But, don't worry, I'll be right behind you!" Leafy reassured me.

"Ok, I'll try......." I informed her, trying to gain some confidence. We walked over to the department store where TB was looking around.

"Hi, TB." I said while waving my hand shakily.

"Oh, hey Woody!" TB said as he turned around. I turned around to see Leafy give the thumbs up.

"How are you today?" I asked slightly confidently.

"Oh great! Thanks for asking, how are you?" TB asked back.

"I'm fine." I said with a bit more confidence.

"I see that you're talking with confidence." TB noticed even though it was quite obvious. I couldn't tell, but Leafy had a look of nervousness when he said that.

"Yeah. I'm.....trying to gain my.....confidence when spea...speaking." I explained.

"Well, you're doing great!" TB complimented me.

"Thanks. What are you doing here?" I asked closing my eyes.

"Oh, I'm seeing if there are my blankets. The blankets at the hotel are quite thin, haven't you noticed?" TB asked.

"Well, now......now that I think about it.......they are quite thin." I remembered.

"I'm getting some for everyone. Which one would you like?" TB asked kindly.

"I'll take.....the blue one." I replied shyly.

"Alright! Well, I've got to go! See you soon!" With that TB left.

"Oh my tree! You did amazing!" Leafy exclaimed.

"You think?" I asked blushing a bit.

"I don't think so, I know so!" She said enthusiastically.

"I'll continue practicing." I informed her quietly.

"Ok! See you later!" Leafy said.

"Bye!" I answered. I really hope I can learn talk to everyone the way I talk to Leafy. That will come in it's own time though.
