Broken

Ruby's POV

"Oh my crystal, it hasn't been a wonderful day today, has it?" I asked a very sleepy Book. We had stayed at the hospital for the entire day and it was now 10:00 in the evening.

"It really hasn-" Book barely got out before falling asleep.

"Hehe" I laughed quietly, suddenly her head fell on to my lap. "I'll tell you what happened when you wake up."

I was surprised to hear a bell ringing and a dragging sound. I looked and saw Magnifying Glass, his foot was cut off and he had scratches all over.

"I thoink I'm gonna be soick!" Bubble said covering her mouth.

"We have to help him!" TB shouted. Then me, TB, GB, Woody, Needle, Coiny, and Nickel helped him.

"Not all of us can help him, someone has to get Stethy!" GB shouted

"I'll doio it!" Bubble said from the chair. I nodded my head and she started running down the hall shout Stethy's name.

Just that moment, Book woke up and a horrified expression grew on her face.

"Magnifying Glass!" Book shouted, "What happened?"

"We- wer....." He tried to get out.

"Let him rest!" Came a confident sounding voice, "He needs to save his strength!"

I looked up and saw Stethy standing tall with a scared Bubble behind him.

"Step back, leave this to me." He said reassuringly, "Nurse Cap! Syringe! We need help!"

Then two nurses came running out.

"What seems to- Oh my!" Yelled Nurse Cap. The other nurse had the same horrified expression on her face as Book.

They both then put on a determined face and helped Stethy carry him away.

"I hope he's ok!" I said worriedly.

Leafy's POV

Nurse Surgical Mask, my nurse, said she'd wheelchair me out to my friends. I was absolutely delighted to hear that.

"Surgical Mask, we need you!" Came a voice a few rooms away.

"Alright!" She yelled, then she turned to me, "I'll help you into the chair, can you wheel yourself?"

"I don't think so." I sad sadly.

"That's fine, I'll call one of your friends." She suggested kindly.

I smiled and nodded, I felt so bad with her giving all her kindness to me, but I'm not able to repay it.

She left the room briefly and within 2 minutes, she was back with Woody.

"Woody! You're here!" I yelled extremely happily. He had a huge smile on my face and hugged me.

He then wheeled me through the hallways a bit slowly so I could get to be outside of my room as long as possible.

"Say, Woody, aren't you scared of wheelchairs?" I asked a bit confused.

He shook his head, "Not anymore" he squeaked.

"I'm glad you're getting over your fears!" I exclaimed. Just then we arrived in the waiting room.

I was expecting happy faces, but all I saw was a room full of sad faces.

"I didn't know I was that deppressing!" I said jokingly.

Then everyone turned to me and had a huge smile on their faces too.

"Loify, I'm so gliad to see yiou!" Exclaimed Bubble.

"Same." I agreed calmly. The next thing I knew, everyone was hugging me. "Can you guys now tell me why you're so sad? It couldn't possibly have been me or Firey."

"Well," TB started, he breathed deeply, "Magnifying Glass got his foot cut off and Badge.......well he......"

"Died" GB finished for him, still extremely sad.

"Oh." I started crying and fell into Needle's arms.

"Why are you crying?" TB asked sympathetically.

"I *sniff* caused all *sniff* this trouble!" I cried while talking.

"It wasn't your fault!" Ruby said trying to cheer me up.

"I'm always glad to have friends like you!" I said, my eyes still red from crying.
