Bittersweet Endings

Leafy's POV

Today, is the day, I'm doing it! I'm confessing to Firey! Oh, I can't wait! I need to write a casual letter to him, so I need to go to the arts and crafts store to get some paper and pencils.

The thing is, that place is really scary, I saw Evil Leafy, or, her real name, Teleleaf, there. I decided to ask Needle, she's fearless. I went up to her room in the clubhouse of awesomeness, she's been doing a huge art project.

Her purple yarn door really popped because of it's 'in your face' color. I knocked on her door nine times because that was the sign for a secret conversation.

"Hold on, just need to cover this up!" Yelled a muffled voice. I heard footsteps about three seconds afterwards and then she opened the door. "So, uh, what's the secret?"

I shuffled into room and she closed the door.

"Well, I know this sounds cheesy, but, I wanted to write a letter to Firezy." I explained, blushing slightly.

"One, I see you've already got a nickname for him!" Needle teased, I was flushed, "Two, it's not cheesy! Also, I'm guessing you want me to take you to the arts and crafts store, correct?"

I nodded, "Yeah, you're the bravest person I know, so, I thought you'd be the best option."

"Fine, but, you're gonna be the last person to see my mastahpiece!" Needle chuckles a bit, I nodded and giggled with her.

I grabbed her hand and pulled her out of her room, I dragged her into the elevator and pressed the G button. The doors closed and we started moving. It was silent since there was no elevator music playing.

"Hey, Leafs?" Needle caught my attention.

"Yeah?" I responded.

"Is it alright if the rest of us hide in a bush or somethin'?" Needle asked sweating slightly.

"Ok, but be there early and quietly." I answered giggling a bit.

"You got it, dude." Needle agreed winking and finger gunning at me.

The elevator finally got to the ground floor, and the doors opened revealing a bright sky and purple grass. We started walking over to the store.

We were about three blocks into our travels, when we came across Ice Cube.

"Hey, Leafy and Needle!" Ice Cube called out.

"Oh, hey!" Needle and I called back in sync.

"What are you doing out here?" Needle asked.

"Oh, well, GB and TB went house hunting, so I have to babysit Jello Cube. I thought we'd go for a walk.

"Can I see Jello Cube, it's so adorable!" I exclaimed.

"Sure!" Ice Cube replied, smiling and revealing a Rocky representing Jello Cube.

"Awwwww! I'm gonna hug it!" I screamed, I then.....well......obviously........hugged it. Jello Cube licked my face, leaving a bit of jello on my face.

"So, I guess he can emit jello from it's tongue?" I asked smartly.

"I guess. I didn't even know it could do that." Ice Cube laughed.

"Well, we were heading to the arts and crafts store, wanna come?" I got right up in her face.

"That place is scary, wasn't Evil Leafy spotted there?" Ice Cube shivered ironically. (Cause you know, she's ice, which is cold, and she shivered)
