The First Trial

Past:

"Today, you have your first mission, Y/N. Kakashi, take care of her." Tsunade paused as she looked to my side, seeing that Kakashi nodded she continued. "Your goal is to prevent the enemy from tearing down an important bridge connecting two lands. The enemy is a group of bandits who oppose the trading between those two lands as they had a war quite a while ago. That's all, this is an A-ranked mission. Dismissed!"
Kakashi grabbed my shoulder and we sunk into the ground, appearing outside the building in mere seconds. "W-What just happened?" I asked with the most confused look I think I'd ever give.
"That's not important, Y/N. You got your first mission, aren't you happy?" Kakashi asked with what seemed like a closed-eye smile.
"Yeah, I guess so. C'mon, let's go and get this over with." I grabbed his wrist and walked forward for a while, Kakashi didn't say a word but then I got lost.
Kakashi seemed to notice and chuckled, I let go of his wrist and he walked in the correct direction. I just laughed awkwardly and scratched the back of my head.
Some time later, we had left the village and were on our way to our desired destination. We had begun running since we realized we probably didn't have that much time.
As we arrived, Kakashi reminded me to stay as quiet as possible. We snuck into the greenery surrounding the bridge and waited for our target to arrive.
After a couple hours, we heard lots of footsteps and mumbling. Yelling started to occur and that's when we made our move.
We both threw three kunais in each hand in turns, hitting vital spots or pressure points and anything we could hit. Soon, lots of thumps and quiet breathing was heard so we made sure to tie them up for the police, who would arrive in a couple minutes.
We left quickly and ran back to the Hidden Leaf, giving each other high fives at our success.
We gave Tsunade a report and left quickly. As we neared the exit, Kakashi gave me an envelope and I looked at him with a puzzled expression. He gave me a look that said 'open it' and I did. My jaw dropped.
"Holy heck, I can't take this, Kakashi! You take it!" I shoved the envelope full of ryo into Kakashi's hands and he gave it back to me.
"Think about it, Y/N, you can keep doing missions and earn cash in order to get your own place and live here. Just take it." I sighed, knowing he had a point and nodded in defeat. He smiled at me, I think, and kept walking forward with me following.
We walked to the clearing where I met Itachi and trained with them for the first time. Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura were engaged in a three-way battle, but Sakura wouldn't target Sasuke. She annoys me, infatuation has no good effect during battle.
I sighed at her actions again and looked at Kakashi, he simply shrugged and chuckled at my reaction.
Kakashi told them to quit training so they could discuss their next training exercise, Naruto looked at me repeatedly until he finally asked Kakashi a question.
"Hey, Kakashi-sensei? Will Y/N join us on our missions now, too?" Naruto asked with a curious tone, his expression seemed hopeful so I chuckled and looked at Kakashi.
"I'll think about it." He gave me a wink and I rolled with eyes while laughing a bit, I then pounded my hands together.
"He better or I'll beat his ass up." I stated like I actually meant it, but I truly was just joking.
"Oh? I'd like to see you try, Y/N." I looked at Kakashi with raised eyebrows and then I stood up. I cracked my knuckles and snapped my fingers.
"C'mon, we don't got all day, Kakashi! I'll show you I mean business." I continued the false brawl on with a smirk. Sasuke grunted at my playfulness and Sakura just giggled slightly, like she thought I would get destroyed. "I'll show them!" I thought confidently.
Kakashi sighed, closed his book which I noticed till just now, and stood up straight. He gave me what seemed like a closed-eye smile and teleported in back of me.
I blocked his punch without thinking and teleported in back of him afterwards. I did the same move and he blocked, but I also aimed for his lower legs.
With my foot, I kicked his left back knee and he fell onto one knee. He tried to trip me quickly as he moved his body in a circle on the ground and I backed up.
I threw a kunai at him and he deflected it back at me with his own. I caught both kunai with my fingers and threw them back near his feet and they didn't hit.
"You missed, oh well, Y/N. It seems to me like I-"
"You what?" I asked cockily as I interrupted him by teleporting behind him and aiming a kunai onto his neck as I jumped onto his back, wrapping my legs around his waist. I put him into a headlock as I still aimed the kunai at his neck.
"If you try to throw me off or do anything, you run the risk of twisting your own neck and breaking it, causing you to die instantly. If you try to shake me off, the tightness of how I'm holding you will cause my kunai to cut your throat deeply and you will bleed out too quickly for you to heal yourself. Seems like I win, Ka-ka-shi." I playfully, but seriously whispered in his ear slowly.
I could hear Sasuke choke on air as he looked onwards with shocked eyes. Sakura kept rolling her eyes, calling my win a fluke. Naruto was happy for me, he jumped up throwing a fist in the air, yelling my name encouragingly.
"Alright, alright, I surrender. You got me there, the two kunai knifes were distractions in order to make me more confident. With my confidence, you had the chance to teleport behind me because of my attention being elsewhere. I have to say, well done Y/N!" Kakashi surrendered and I let him out of my grip.
"You know, Y/N, I wouldn't mind if you were Hokage before me!" Naruto yelled with a thumbs up and closed-eye smile. "And believe it! I will become Hokage someday!"
I ruffled Naruto's hair lovingly and he smiled with tint of pink on his cheeks, Sasuke huffed and looked away. Sakura tried to act cool and huffed too, acting like she was unimpressed. "I'm sure you will, Naruto, I'm sure you will." I smiled at him as Kakashi came to stand by my side.
I looked at the group and then up to the sky, smiling and laughing as I knew that I was incredibly lucky to have such a peaceful life... or so I thought. Everything would change soon, and I would have no way to stop it.
