Sam and Dean had to do a job that required a professional approach. They were chasing a dangerous creature. One of the four horsemen, Famine. Sam and Dean refused at first, but Bobby convinced him to let me help in the case. After all, this was a matter of life and death.
I arrived Saturday, in my lifted Ford F-150 loaded up with ghost hunting equipment. I myself am a hunter, like Sam and Dean. I'm well educated on ghosts and the supernatural, more than Sam even! I called Sam on his cell and he picked up with a, "Hello?" I said, "Hi, Sam. I'm in town now, what hotel are y'all at?" Sam answered, "Ah, you're the hunter/professional that Bobby called in. We're at the Calling Card Hotel. Room 290." I laughed lightly and said, "Ok. See y'all in five. Look for a lifted Ford." Sam said, "Will do. Thanks!" I hung up and drove to the Calling Card Hotel.
I pulled up an hour later and Dean came out to the parking lot tailed by Sam. I pulled in the spot and parked, and Castiel appeared in front of my truck. "Oh shit!" I slammed on brakes. Castiel appeared in my passenger seat and said, "Hello. Who are you? What do you want with the Winchesters?" I answer him with, "Bobby called me. I'm here to help. My name is Kim Hannan and I'm a professional ghost hunter. Bobby called me and assigned me to this case." Castiel shakes my hand and presumably reads my mind to make sure I'm being honest. After he's done with his angel interrogation, he smiles and poofs back over to Sam and Dean. "She's telling the truth. She's here to help." Sam and Dean both nod, "Thanks, Cass."
I get out my truck and go talk to the boys about their case. I confused Sam and Dean many times with my vocabulary and when I got the "what the fuck is she talking about" looks from Dean, I tried to use simpler words.
