Walking into the Elders den with his mate to see his blind brother was not comforting. After all, Flamesky was still worried about Falconstar and how she was acting that morning. She had been acting this way for several moons often going to talk to Badgerstripe who Sunstar had put with the elders because Jayflight would not teach the stubborn one. Now it seemed that he could talk to Moonclan even though he was not a Medicine cat.

"Badgerstripe? I am worried about Jayflight. He is getting old and has no apprentice. What would happen if he dies without passing on his skills to another cat? Also the story he told me about the day that my mother died... I feel like he was lying in one way or another. Especially with the way he paused." Falconstar seemed to pour out her feelings to Badgerstripe.

Suddenly Flamesky felt a drop in his heart. Am I jealous? He asked himself. Don't be ridiculous. He answered his own question. Falconstar had always talked to his brother like this because she had felt that they were like no other and that he would understand. She had felt that no one would understand her because of her fur pattern which had only become more unusual the more she grew. Especially since her mother Littlewave died. No one knew how she died. Now that Flamesky thought about it nobody had known Flaconstar's father either.

"Maybe Jayflight can help you since you think that he lied to you," Badgerstripe said calmly

"That is a great idea." Falconstar gasped.

"No, it is not he is just a blind cat," Flamesky muttered.

"He is not just a blind cat, he is an elder and your brother and he deserves your respect. I am only doing this to stop the contention in the Clan by finding out what really happened to Littlewave. As Jayflight said, she was everyone's friend."

"Maybe I can help with that" Jayflight said startling Flamesky and Falconstar.

"I guess we are going to have to," Flamesky muttered he had not gotten to finish his sentence because there was a yowl out in the clearing.

"I KNOW WHO DID THIS TO LITTLEWAVE!" a voice yelled

Flamesky whipped around to see Falconstar's tail tip vanish out the door of the Elder's den.

"Flamesky? Help. I want to know what is happening." Badgerstripe mewed.

"Fine" Flamesky hissed

Racing out the den the two cats got there just in time to see Falconstar talking to Blackwing of MouseClan. Suddenly he noticed the old tom's tail tip. All the other fur on his pelt was black except for his tail tip, that was orange. Could this be Falconstar's father that nobody knew about? Flamesky started to wonder whether Falconstar was actually doing this for the Clan or if it was for her. Either way, he would help her the best he could.

"Mumbleheart would not be able to do anything like that!" Falconstar hissed, "He was not even born."

"Fine!" Blackwing yowled

"What are you even doing in our territory!" Grayfoot yield.

"I came to warn you." hissed Blackwing.

"What can an Elder from another clan do for us?" Grayfoot sneered.

"I am leaving then."

Faconstar was shaking as she watched Blackwing's tail tip swaying back and forth as he walked out of the camp. Leaving Flamesky and the rest of the cats in the Clan wondering what would an elder from another clan would help with the mystery of what had happened to Littlewave. Flamesky shook his pelt as if shaking off some sort of nervous feeling. Looking around he started to pad over to Falconstar's den to run into Falconstar.

"I am sorry Flamesky, but I would love this conversation to be a private one," Falconstar said.

"I understand Falconstar," Flamesky mumbled

Walking away Flamesky headed out of the camp I am going to go hunting to get my mind out of this he thought he headed out into the forest. Suddenly he smelled a mouse. Dropping into the hunters crouch he slowly slipped closer and closer to the smell. The mouse had been farther away than he had thought. So he silently slipped around bushes until he spotted the mouse not too far away from a tree. He quickly and quietly slipped up a tree and stood on the lowest branch settling into the pouncing position. Leaping out of the tree he missed the mouse by a couple of paw steps.

"Mouse Dung!" he called after the mouse as it started to run.
