Chapter 14

Falconstar watched as Jayflight's white and black tail vanished through the entrance. She still wondered why he needed to get to Mouseclan so fast, but if Moonclan told him to go he should go. She was pondering this when a young glowing kit appeared. The kit was a yellow tabby, but half her face was brown tabby. The eye on the yellow side of her face was a dark blue while the eye on the brown side of her face was dark green.

Quietly the kit sat down and dipped her head before talking, "Hello Falconstar, I am Humblekit."

"The kit that died to the kit stealer." Falconstar gasped

"If you mean Bumblehop, then yes. I came to see if you remembered one time when you were a kit. When Moonsong hurt you."

"Yes I remember."

"Good."

With that Humblekit vanished. Leaving Falconstar confused. Quietly Snowfall and Squirrelflow padded in.

Turning towards them Falconstar sighed.

Squirrelflow sighed, "This is about Bluepaw isn't it."

Falconstar looked up and said, "both of your apprentices, but I have some thinking to do so I will confront you later."

"Uh ok"

Falconstar quietly padded in a circle and fell asleep. Suddenly she woke up panting. Gently Humblekit nudged her awake. She wasn't in the leader's cave. She was in the nursery. Looking around she saw inpatient Honeykit and Flamekit, and Moonkit, Bark-kit, and badgerkit glaring her way. It was the middle of the night and everyone was asleep. Getting up she followed the 5 other kits as they quietly padded outside of the den. Slipping into the shadows they walked and slipped into the night to do one of the most dangerous things that any kit in the clans have done. Following the scent trail of the pack of wolves they plodded on. Suddenly Falconstar (Falconkit at the time) stopped.

Quietly she mewed, "This is not a good idea."

Flamekit and Honeykit nodded in agreement. Moonkit whipped around and hissed, "you know the agreement right."

The agreement was that Moonkit, Bark-kit, and Badgerkit would not teese Flamekit, Honeykit, and Falconkit.

Falconkit's ears slowly laid flat, grumbling she hissed, "Of course I do."

"Then why are you arguing with us," Bark-kit laughed

With that Moonkit got into a hunting stance. "Are you scared," she taunted

"I have full rights to be scared," Falconkit hissed

"Are you a mouse-brain"

"No!"

"Then why don't you want to save the clan?"

"Well, I..I..."

"That's right! You don't!"

With that Moonkit leaped at Falconkit. Landing on her back she dug her claws in. Hissing Falconkit tried to shake Moonkit off. Then after a couple minutes there was a light growl coming from the bushes. All the kits froze in terror, Moonkit sliding off Falconkit's back. Suddenly a wolf burst from the bushes. As the kits were about to turn and flee. Falconkit looked back to Badgerkit running and shoving Moonkit to move. As Moonkit spun and started to run the wolf swiped. Stopping to see if Moonkit and Badgerkit were alright she saw that Moonkit was fine. Badgerkit on the other hand was following the screams of the terrified kits up ahead. His eyes were closed and blood covered his face. Falconkit was reminded to run as she was shoved by Flamekit.

Falconstar woke up in terror. She looked up to see Humblekit gently looking at her.

"Why," Falconstar mewed

" There will be four. One of each, F has hardship, S is the last of the last, M has half of what she has, A suffers betrayal. They shall save, protect, and reunite. Four Clans to stop destruction. Goodbye Falconstar and good luck." Humblekit whispered.

"Why."
