It was Friday, and Storm hadn't talked to D'Angelo or Malik since Sunday. That was probably why her stress levels were down. Great timing though because she had her period that week & she did not need the added stress. Thank god she was on her last day.
She shrugged as she walked towards her grandmother's house. Her mother was going out right after work so she had to get Lyrica. Storm wasn't the only one getting with niggas lined-up.
She walked in, hoping that her grandmother had cooked.
"Nana I-" She stopped as she walked in seeing Lyrica sitting by D'Angelo.
One week, that's all I ask for, she thought to herself.
"Stormy look!! D'Angelo picked me up from camp & took me for ice cream!!" Lyrica said running over to give her sister a hug. Storm hugged her back, looking at D'Angelo who was still sitting on the couch. He looked good. Fresh cut, beard looking nice, fresh all white g-fazos, white tee & grey sweatpants.
"Did he?" Storm asked, looking down at her sister. Lyrica nodded. "Where's Nana?"
"She went to the store to get dinner." Storm nodded before walking out of the room. She headed to the bathroom & closed the door before sitting on the toilet. She had spoken too soon about not talking to D'Angelo.
The bathroom door opened & she jumped as D'Angelo walked in. "Damn can I get some privacy?" He sucked his teeth.
"You ain't even pissing," He closed the door behind him as Storm stood up, rolling her eyes. "Besides, ain't nothing I never seen before."
"What do you want?" She asked as they switched positions.
"I gotta piss for real. It ain't always about you," He said as he lifted the toilet lid & seat up. He pulled out his dick & began to pee. Storm made a face but didn't leave. "Damn can I have some privacy?"
"I was here first."
"You just love to argue don't you?" He asked with a laugh. He finished peeing & shook his dick before putting it back in his pants & flushing the toilet. He walked over to the sink to wash his hands while Storm walked over to the toilet, putting the seat down. She hated when he left the lid up. He washed his hands & turned the sink off before turning to Storm & flicking water at her. She smacked his arm and he laughed as he kept flicking water at her.
"Stop you ass!!" She hissed as she hit him again. He finally stopped & grabbed a paper towel drying his hands.
"Why yo grandma got all these towels in here if can't nobody use them?"
"Decorations, duh."
"Decorations, duh," D'Angelo mocked before laughing. Storm rolled her eyes. He was so childish.
"Can you get out now?"
"Why?" He asked leaning against the door.
"Cause why are you in here?"
"I just peed. Why you in here?"
"Cause I can be," Storm said crossing her arms.
"I can too," He said as he pushed himself off the door. "Wanna know where else I can be?" He asked, walking towards Storm. She had a clue.
"Don't start," She said, but he did. He walked up & grabbed her waist. Storm looked up at him. He licked his lips.
"Guess where I can be," He said lowly, making her weak.
"Where?" She asked & he moved one of his hands from off her waist into her pants. He rubbed on her sensitive clit, making her bite her lip.
"Right there," He said, poking her clit a few times. Then he pulled his hand out of her pants & put his two fingers up to his mouth, licking off her wetness. Storm watched him, feeling her hormones rage. He put his hand down & smiled, his pearly whites showing. Then he swiftly pulled her in for a kiss, flicking his tongue into her mouth. She sucked on it, moaning a little as he grabbed two handfuls of her ass. Then he pulled back. They stared at each other for a minute until Lyrica started calling their names, wondering where they were at. D'Angelo groaned as Storm pushed him off of her & headed out the bathroom. He watched her ass jiggle as the door closed behind her & he cussed to himself as he opened the door, walking out behind her, not caring if Lyrica questioned them about what they were doing in there together.
Malik sat on the porch with Tremaine, Lamar, Koby & a few other people they hung with. It was one of those summer nights where they just hung out, cracking jokes & talking about everything.
"I remember I tried to get Lamar put on that thot page," Lulu said, laughing as Lamar's face changed.
"Wow. It's like that? Bet." She and the other girls busted out laughing as Lamar walked into the house.
Malik shook his head, laughing to himself as he looked around the street. Even though it was starting to get dark, many people were still out enjoying the weather. Somebody was even playing 'Ambitionz Of A Rider' by Lud Foe.
Tremaine nudged Malik & he looked over at his friend. "You talked to Storm?" He gave his friend a look, which meant 'hell no'. "Shit my bad for asking."
Malik still refused to hit Storm up. He wasn't as mad as he was before, but he still wasn't going to call her.
Just as stubborn as they come.
Storm sat on the back porch of her grandmother's house, D'Angelo still inside having a conversation with the energetic Lyrica. He wanted to go outside & talk to Storm, like actually talk to her since they hadn't done that in a while. D'Angelo knew when he told her he loved her, it threw her off, so he wanted to see where her head was at.
He finally managed to get away from Lyrica when her grandmother walked in the house. The 7-year-old ran over to her grandmother, allowing D'Angelo to escape to the back.
The summer breeze hit him as he opened the back door. He looked over at Storm, who had her head down looking at her phone.
Her finger hovered over the send button in Malik's messages, the message she wanting to send being 'can we talk?'.
D'Angelo walked over to sit by her, making Storm lock her phone quickly. D'Angelo had a smart comment to say, but he decided to leave it alone. They argued enough as is. They both sat quietly, him trying to figure out how to start the conversation and her wondering why he was even out there.
"You know, Lyrica has a big imagination," He said, getting a chuckle out of Storm.
"Oh yeah, and she'll talk your ears off if you let her."
"I see," He said chuckling. It got quiet once again & he internally scolded himself.
"I know you don't wanna talk about Lyrica, so wassup?" Storm asked, and D'Angelo rubbed his head.
"Y'know... I just wanted to see wassup with you." Storm shrugged.
"Same old shit, just a different day." D'Angelo looked at her & she looked at him back. "What?"
"You know that ain't what I mean." She knew. "I mean like wassup. We never really talked about everything that happened." Storm sighed, knowing she should've just got Lyrica and left. She didn't wanna talk about everything because she didn't know how she felt.
"I mean, what is there to say?" She asked shrugging & he rubbed his face in frustration.
"Here you go with this nonchalant shit again."
"How am I being nonchalant?"
"Storm you acting like the shit that happened ain't a big deal."
"I don't see how I am. You just was acting like it wasn't a big deal when you was trying to fuck me in the bathroom."
"I know. But I wanna talk about this shit for real. I..." He stopped & cleared his throat. "I wanna take you out."
Storm gave D'Angelo a look. Was he serious? Did he really think they were at the point where they should go on dates?
"What?"
"I wanna take you out," He repeated. "We can go out, talk, let everything out without it feeling forced. You can get real cute or whatever."
"D'Angelo-"
"Storm don't say no," He said interrupting her. She sighed. Did she really want to do this?
Part of her said no, but the other part, the one that always won, said yes.
She sighed in defeat & nodded. He smiled, his pretty white teeth shining, making Storm's heart skip a beat.
"Be ready tomorrow."
Storm nodded again as D'Angelo kissed her cheek before going back in the house. She unlocked her phone, the message she wanted to send to Malik still there. Her finger hovered once again over the send button. She decided to delete it before going in the house, joining her family for a late dinner.
