A Gift Returned

Akko's POV:
       I was currently in my room, stretching from a long deserved nap. We had 3 tests, extra broom practice and I had to do detention again. As I stretched, I looked over at the alarm clock. "5:30? Dang, how long did I nap?" I said to myself, I was completely alone so I could say this out loud. I then decided to go look through my Shiny Chariot Card Collection and just organize it. Weird for me to be organized, I know. But when it came to Shiny Chariot, nothing else mattered. As I was looking through my cards, one of them caught my eye.
       I picked up the card and realized that it was a deluxe card. I had never, ever collected one so I knew it wasn't mine. I then remembered Diana, it's always funny how ever since the rocket she always comes into my mind. Those blond locks, sapphire eyes, and that hot British accent. It's like heaven with her. I then had a mini flashback to when we went to the tea shop and talked. That was the day me and Diana were no longer rivals, but best friends. I snapped out of my thoughts when I heard the door slowly open.
       I quickly hid the card and saw Lotte at the other end of the door. I sighed in relief and took out the deluxe card. "Isn't that the card Diana gave you?" Lotte asked sitting down next to me. I nodded my head, still not saying a word. "I came to see if you would like to go shopping with me and Sucy. I knew you had it hard today, so you could use the relaxation." "Yea, your right. I do need a little bit of R and R! I'll meet you guys at the layline!" I said and hugged my friend. I then got dressed in a black t-shirt and some dark blue jeans. I grabbed my tiny backpack and headed out to the layline.
      Me, Lotte and Sucy had been shopping for almost 1 hour. I just looked at the sights and bought some little things, like chocolate and drinks.  As we continued walking, something had caught my eye. I then told my friends to wait for me over by the mushroom shop, which Sucy loved by the way, and then went into the store. "Hello, Miss! What can I do for you?" The man said. I then pointed to the display out on the window seal. "Oh ok! That will be $150." I  couldn't afford that, I mean I'm already poor enough. "She'll take it!" I heard someone say behind me.
     "Hey, Andrew! Its good to see you! Are you sure you can pay for that?" I asked, a little nervous and excited at the same time. "If I know you, I know who it's for. It took you long enough though." He said chuckling. The cashier took the money and put the object into a small but long box. I then hugged Andrew goodbye and headed out the store. After finally finding my friends, we all headed back to the layline and went back to our dorms. I then got dressed in our normal school outfit and headed out the door. '7:00. I can make it.' I thought and headed down the dorms. Finally reaching the dorm, I took a deep breath and knocked.

Diana's POV:
       I was just in the middle of my book until I heard a knock on the dorm door. It was just me at the moment because Hannah and Barbra are out doing something. I marked my page and went to open the door to reveal, none other than the school's troublemaker Atsuko Kagari, or as most of the school calls her Akko. "May I come in?" She asked. I smiled and nodded, opening the door a little wider. We both sat on my bed and just let the silence consume us. "So, why are you here Akko? If you don't mind me asking." I asked politely. Akko then pulled out a box, that she was hiding behind her back and opened it.
       "A-Akko? W-Where did you get this?!" I asked. "Local shopping store," she said. "This is a gift to you, for the gift you gave me at that tea shop. I wanted to find you the perfect gift, so here it is." Akko said, handing me the deluxe Shiny Chariot Card. It looked exactly like the card, I kept locked away for years. "D-Do you like it?" "I love it Akko," I said simply and kissed her cheek. I could see Akko blushing, I chuckled at the fact of her being cute. I then looked over at my alarm clock and saw that it was  7:50, "Akko? You have to back to your door before you get another detention."
        "Is it creepy that I just want to stay here right now?" Akko asked while lying on the bed. I layed down with her and rested my head on her chest. At first, I wanted her to leave, but now I just want her to stay also. I had began to stroke her forearm with the tip of my finger nail, just drawing little invisible hearts. 'What have you done to me Akko?' I thought to myself. "You have to get going Akko. I don't want you to get in trouble again." I heard her groan but obliged.
        We both walked to her dorm room. It is after all my duty to make sure the students are where their supposed to be around this time. "I'll be back tomorrow you know." Akko said as she stood in front of the door. "And why is that?" I asked. "Because you gave me one of the greatest gifts ever and all I could get you was a copy. Until my debt is repaid, we will call this a gift returned." I blushed and smiled at the fact Akko would go all the way just to get me a great gift. "Goodnight Atsuko." I said and kissed her cheek again, leaving her to her thoughts.
