True Colors

Diana's POV:
Well here I am at Andrew's party, what do I do now? I began walking through the crowds and seeing all the faces. Everyone seemed to have dates while I had no one. Once I had made my way through the crowd, I stood up against the wall. Hannah and Barbra were flirting with guys that I knew but had no interest in, so I was left alone. Some boys tried to get me to dance with them, but I rejected them.
I sighed deeply, wondering why I even here. My Aunt wants me to be with Andrew, but he and I are just like brother and sister. He's like family, the only good family I got, aside from the helpers at the House of Cavendish. I wanted to leave, just to disappear from this forsaken place and why couldn't I? I had magic, I knew the spell, all I would need is a secluded area but what does that do for my image, my reputation?
I put my head down, exhausted from my thinking. I can never be my true self or show people who I actually am. The Curse of being A Cavendish I guess.

Andrew's POV:
Ok, Ok I know what your thinking. Why am I not helping my "sister" or keeping her company during my party that she was forced to go to? Well, tonight it's not my job too and if all goes well, it won't be my duty for a long time. I am currently on the phone, "Where are you guys?" "Calm down Andrew! Were coming!" "How lo-" And before I knew it, the line went dead. They hung up on me! About 5 minutes later the band showed up, who was none other than Amanda, Sucy, and Lotte, but where was- " She's getting into position. Calm down Andrew, we got this." Amanda said patting me in the back and leaving to set up. I sure hope they know what they're doing.

Amanda's POV:
Me and the band began to set up. Andrew is ok in my book for doing this. We've only been planning it for months and now we were finally ready, or should I say Akko was finally ready. "Alright Ladies and Gentlemen, time for a slow dance. A new song, going towards all of you lovers out there. Written by one of our own members, hope you enjoy your night." We bagan to play our song, with me and Lotte singing. I sure hope this works.

Diana's POV:

Great, just what I needed a slow song, just for lovers. Only fun fact, I don't have one. I pushed myself off the wall and began for the door, when I was soon taped on the shoulder. I turned around amd saw Akko? "Can I have this dance?" She asked shyly. I was about to decline until she mouthed the lyrics of the song that was playing.

Akkos eyes sparkled, like nothing I had ever seen before. I took her hand and we began dancing together, but I was still upset. So I turned my face away from her, only to have it turned back in her direction.

I blushed at these words. Why did I feel like... that they were mean't... for me? Akko continued mouthing the lyrics and I just listened.

"A-Akko? What are you trying to say?" I blushed and flustered, something that I would never do. But Akko just kept mouthing the lyrics being sung.

I was mesmerized by these words, it was like a spark had lit inside of me. Soon enough I started to mouth along, it was like magic.

Oncce the song finished, I couldnt help but lean more closer to Akko. Akko did the same, our lips so close but it was like we couldnt close the gap. It wasnt the place, but it was the time. I didnt know what to do, but before I could come up with a solution, Akko was called to the stage.
We moved away from each other and Akko went up to the stage. "And here she is, the creator of this song. Our own guitarist, Akko Kagari." Amanda said and evryone clapped. "You all are to kind, thank you so much. I couldnt have done it without someone very close to me. They inspired me to write this song and I hope it will inspire them to show off there true self. You have been a wonderful audience, thank you." Akko said, while the whole time she looked at me.
I went out to the garden and sat down on a nearby bench. Soon enough, I heard foot steps coming my way. I turned around and saw Akko, I smiled and patted the space next to me. "Was that song for me?" I asked and Akko nodded, looking out in the garden. "Do you really love me?" I asked.
Akko.didnt say anything but turn my face to hers and kiss me. I was shocked at first, but soon relaxed into it and smiled, kissing her back. We pulled away and Akko spoke, "Yes. Ever since the adventure to your mansion. I saw your true self and I wanted you to express it more. So I created the song, to inspire you and to tell you that I love you." Akko said, wiping away a tear that was rolling down my face.
I smiled and kissed her once more. "Thank you, Akko. I love you too." Akko smiled and pulled me closer buy my waist and we just sat there watching the night sky and the moonlit garden.
