Falling for You

Dianas POV:
I was just walking through the woods when I suddenly heard a scream and a crash. I headed over to the sound and found none other than Astuko Kagari, or Akko if you will. Her hoodie was hanging onto a big branch of a strong tree, her hat was on the ground, and her legs and face were cut up.
Akko was stuggling to get herself free, but when she saw me she stopped. "Oh hey Diana. What are you doing this far into the woods?" I folded my arms and glared at her. "I could ask you the same question Astuko." Akko groaned, she hated it when I would call her by her whole name. Mostly, I only use it when I want to tease her but for today it was a serious matter.
Akko continued to try and free herself from the tree. "You should really stop." I said. "Just mind your own business Diana. I've almost-" And just like that, the branch broke and she fell flat on her face. I rushed over to her and flipped her over. "Akko?! Akko are you alright!?!" I asked shaking her, but she was motionless. I realized she was unconscious and I teleported us to the schools nurse.
After half an hour, the nurse came out. "Is she alright?!" I asked shakily, very worried about Akko's condition. "She is alright. Just some cuts and bruises. She has a slight concussion but she'll be alright." "Can I go see her?" The nurse nodded and lead me to Akko's bed. "I'll leave you two alone." I thanked the nurse and turned to Akko. "Akko? Are you awake?" Akko groaned, holding her head.
"Ow..." she whined, starting to sit herself up. "Ah Ah Ah. Lay down, you took a hard hit." I said, lightly pushing her back down. "Diana?! What are you doing here?!" "Well, I am the one who brought you here." I responded. Akko laid back down and chuckled. "Guess I fell for you didn't I?" I blushed at the statement and turned away. Why in the world am I blushing? "Did I say something wrong?" Akko asked.
"N-No. No. Your fine." I responded, gaining back my composure. Akko grabbed my hand and held onto it. I turned to look at her, blushing yet again. "Seriously though, thank you." "Y-Your w-welcome." I stuttered, something I would never do. Akko looked into my eyes and I stared into hers. I never noticed how attractive her eyes were, they are very alluring.
We were like that for awhile, until the nurse came by and Akko let go of my hand. "Visiting hours are over. She will be back in her dorm tomorrow." I thanked the nurse again and started to leave. I turned around one last time and saw Akko looking at me, while the nurse was talking to her. She smiled and for the first time in a long time, I smiled back. I went back to my dorm and decided I would visit her in her dorm tomorrow. But for homework purposes, nothing more.

Akko's POV:
After Diana turned away, I immediately realized what I had just said. I asked her if I said something wrong, but she said it was fine. I grabbed her hand and held onto it. Her hand is so soft, it feels like a baby's hand. I said thank you and to my surprise she stuttered. I looked into her eyes and she looked into mine. She has beautiful eyes, they are like magic. We were like that for a moment until the nurse came by and I let go of her hand, not wanting the nurse to think anything.
Diana had to leave, but I wanted her to stay. As she left, I stared at her. She's so graceful when she walks. Diana was at the corner when she turned back to look at me, I smiled and she smiled back. I blushed at this. I thanked the nurse and she said she'll transport me to my dorm tomorrow morning. I fell asleep, only thinking of Diana's eyes.
The next morning, the nurse transported me to my dorm bed. Telling Lotte and Sucy that I would be out of class for a few days. She also told them to make sure I take my medicine three times a day. Lotte told her thank you and she left without another word. As Lotte gave me the medicine, Sucy was laughing at the fact that I had gotten hurt again. I glared at her and Lotte smacked her on the arm.
It was my turn to laugh this time, it hurt but it was worth it. They left and told me to take care of of myself and to not do anything stupid. I waved goodbye and just sat around, organizing my Chariot cards. After five hours, I heard a knock on the door. "Come in!" I yelled, shocked to see Diana holding some books and notes. "Diana?! What are you doing here?" I asked sitting up a bit. She put the stuff next to the bed and sat on my bed with me.
"The nurse did say I could visit you, I just wanted to make sure you were alright." She stayed blushing a little bit. "And apparently to give me homework?" I said pointing to the stuff. "Oh! Yes, I didn't want you to be behind your studies, so I came to help." This was highly unusual of Diana. She would just scold me about my studies and not offer any help, but now, she's different.
I took the blanket off me and got into a sitting position. Diana only looked at my wounds, she looked like she was going to cry. "Diana? Are you ok?" "I'm sorry Akko. This is all my fault. If I had just helped you, you wouldn't be hurt. And yet, I've been so cruel to you and you don't seem to care. Instead of something cross, you say thank you. Why? After everything, why?"
I sighed and rubbed my temples a bit. I couldn't answer her, I needed to take my medicine. "Can you hand me those pills please, and some water?" I asked Diana, she nodded and got them for me. I swallowed them and felt a bit better. "I really don't blame you, at all Diana. I got myself stuck in a tree, I didn't listen to your advice, I am behind on my studies but yet you still scold me. To be honest all I have to do is say thank you." Diana looked at me confused. I laughed and held my chest. "Haha, agh! I thank you because when you scold me it only makes me work harder. I know that in order to be like Chariot, I have to learn and graduate with high marks to be taken seriously. The teachers have noticed a change in my grades and effort. So in reality, it's only natural for me to thank you." I smiled.
Diana put her head on my shoulder, holding my hand. I blushed at this and I could feel her head getting hot. "Are you ok? You feel kinda hot." I asked using my other hand to check her. Diana just lifted her head and kissed my cheek. "I'm perfect Akko. Just perfect. Now if you don't mind, I need to rest a bit. You've worried me to exhaustion." "O-Ok." I then hear Diana sigh and relax on my shoulder, falling asleep.
I can't believe she cares about me this much. Is it bad that I kinda like this? Nah, this is great! I wrapped my arm around her and pull her closer. "Damn it Diana. If this is what falling for you feels like, I never want to stop falling." I whisper and careful lay us down, falling asleep.

Diana's POV:
I heard what Akko said and blushed. Once she laid us down, I wrapped my arms around her and kiss her neck. Ok maybe not just for homework purposes.
