Akkos POV:
"Well, girls it looks like today's that day!" I said excitedly turning to my friends Lotte and Sucy. "And what day is that?" Lotte asks, raising her eyebrow while pushing up her glasses. "The day where yours truly, will flirt with Diana!" I said proudly, doing a Supergirl pose.
Okay, Okay. So Amanda dared me to flirt with Diana and make her fall for me using just one line. She said if I could, she would do my detentions and sneak tarts from the school's kitchen after hours from now on. But if I couldn't I would be her blame girl. Meaning that everything she did wrong, I would have to be there to take the fall for it. Its only extended to like two weeks. As long as she doesn't do anything stupid, I'll be fine.
We entered the classroom and the girls went to their seats, while I leaned myself against Diana's usual desk and waited.
After just like one minute and a half, Diana came walking in like she was on a ballroom floor. She walked so gracefully. She came up to me and I winked while saying my witty line. "Hey Diana, I have a problem." "Oh? What could that be?" She asked raising her eyebrow.
"I can't seem to find a mirror." "A mirror?" "Yes. A mirror!" I saw Dianas puzzled face and tried not to laugh, it is adorable when shes confused. "Why would you need a mirror? You look fine." "I cant find a mirror, where I see your reflection next to mine. Would you like to help me find one?" I asked giving her a smirk. She didn't even react, it was like she was dead inside. "Akko. Now is not the time for your practical jokes. It is time for class. Besides we see each other every day, you don't need a mirror. Now would you please remove yourself, so that I may sit down?" She asked folding her arms and raising an eyebrow.
I stood there shocked, then looked at Amanda, who was giving the look of defeat. "Y-Yea sure. I'll go. Sorry." I then moved away and sat down, putting my head on the desk. That sad part is. Is that I actually really do like her.Dianas POV:
I sat down in my seat after that weird encounter with Akko. As the class progressed, I found myself looking at Akko. Who was surprisingly paying attention? Wait... Akko never pays attention! Somethings up.
After class, I walked over to Lotte and pulled her aside to talk. "Oh! Hey Diana! Whats up?" She asked me. "Is Akko alright? She didn't seem like herself today. I think I may have been too harsh on her." I said feeling even more guilty about how I treated her. "Oh... that. She um... well. If we are being honest, I think she's heartbroken." "Heartbroken? Why?"
Lotte then began telling me about the bet and what the consequences were. "That is a stupid bet! Why would they even make that bet and put it on me?!" I asked annoyed. "Because Amanda knows that Akko has got a crush on you. I guess this was a way to see if Akko had a chance. But since you completely didn't get the line, she lost hope."
Akko likes me? "Where is Akko now?" "She's in our dorm. Getting ready for the first trouble that Amanda makes." I thanked her and used a teleportation spell which took me directly into the red team's dorm. "D-Diana?! What are you doing here?"
"I came to stop you from making a huge mistake, you idiot!" Akko looked down to the floor. I went over and cupped her face with my hands. "You sweet and adorable idiot." "Wait. Did you just call me-" I didn't let her speak, for I had hugged her tightly, burying my face in her neck. "Why didn't you tell me?"
I heard Akko sigh, "Because I didn't want you to see me as a freak. And if I did tell you, Amanda would've have told the whole school! Think about what the principle would do to me! I could have gotten expelled!" I let go of her and held her arms firmly, to show I was serious. "And you think that with this bet you won't?!" "At least I wouldn't be leaving anything behind! Like my love for you, the thought that I would never see you again and that the thought of that I didn't even try to be with you! But after your reaction, I knew I didn't have a chance. So if I do get expelled, at least I won't be leaving without heartache."
Akko laced up her shoes and started getting up from her bed. I don't know what came over me, but I soon found myself pinning Akko down on the floor. With me sitting on top of her. "Diana! Get off of me!" Akko wined, struggling to free herself from my hold.
"No." "No?!" "Yes, no! I won't let you just risk getting expelled because of some stupid bet! Did you even think about how I would feel?!" Akko gave me a very much needed confused expression. "You are my other half. You are not my rival at all. You are the part of me that I had always wanted. I'm sorry that I was so blind to your flirt. I'm sorry that I caused your heartbreak. Please don't go. I need you, Akko. More than you know."
Akko sat herself up and looked at me, speechless. She put her hands on my back pulling me closer. "Prove it." I tangled my hands in her soft brown hair and kissed her. I felt her kiss back in seconds and smiled. We just stayed like that for awhile until air became a problem. We pulled away and leaned our foreheads together.
Akko laughed, "Well consider it proven. And look over there." She said pointing to a long mirror in the room. "Looks like I actually did find that mirror." She said, scratching the back of her neck. "I guess you did." "So... what now?" That was a good question indeed.Akkos POV:
I can't believe that Diana loved me back! Who would have guessed it! But I still needed to go to Amanda or all of this would be for nothing. Diana got off of me and help me up. "Take me to where Amanda wanted to meet you." I nodded my head and we headed over to the magic stone tower.
I held Diana's hand just before we got there and saw Amanda. "Well took you long enough. Come on! We're going to make some trouble!" "Actually Amanda, I won the bet!" Amanda looked at me blankly and started to laugh. "No, you didn't! I saw Diana's rejection towards your line! There's no way you won!" "On the contrary. She did." Diana said holding up our hands together.
Amanda's mouth hung open for a while, but she still didn't look convinced. So, I dipped Diana and kissed her right in front of Amanda. I lifted Diana up and looked at Amanda, who was now in defeat. "I guess you won. When do I start?" "The bets off. Just promise me that you won't say a word. We will tell the rest of our friends when we are ready." Amanda nodded and flew back to her dorm.
"You really are a good kisser," Diana said while blushing. "Well, I can do more than just kissing," I said while smirking. Diana blushed and looked away for a bit. Oh my God, she got the flirt!! Seconds later, we were in her dorm room and I was on top of her.
"Prove it." She said tracing my jawline. I smirked and kissed her neck down. "You're in for a wild time."
