Pidge had stepped onto the planet and screeched. Every step she took left new plants and vines reached towards her. Curlng lovingly around her ankles. "Do not be alarmed it seems the council didn't teach you all of your abilities." Allura laughed picking pidge up like a rag doll. "Come now meditation will help you gain control."

Letting out a small groan Pidge allowed herself to be half carried to the top of floating cliff. Where they sat facing the sun. The warm rays of golden light reminded her of home, of Hunk. She settled into a cross-legged position breathing in the crisp air. The plants wrapped around her lower half contentedly.

"I never really liked outside." She whispered knowing Allura could hear her just fine. "But after seeing nothing but stars this feels like home." Listening to Alluras quiet laughter Pidge could feel the people around her. Every step they took she knew where. She could feel it through the ground as if all the life was gossiping about who was where.

Her sense stopped when splashes were heard.
The water, that's where Lance can watch them.

"Reach towards the planet, connect to the life it holds." the princess hummed.

She did as told and a breeze swept he hair around. The growth receded. She felt nice, comfortable, Light. Then everything felt wrong. "Allura?" The feeling came to quickly, large groups of feet made the ground cry out beneath her.

Her eyes opened to the sound of gun shots. She could hear Shiro barking orders. Allura was faster tugging her to her feet and towards the castle. Coran met them at the door ushering them inside. The barrier was parting waiting the paladin to enter.

The guys were to far, there were to many robots. Lance called the waves to push them back. The electricity swirling to his command, encapsulated by the blue liquid it was running through. Hunk made it. Followed by Shiro.

P~Let's go, come on!

H~We're trying!

S~where did hey come from?

K~We should've brought our armor.

Dirt was scattered through the air as Bullets of light skimmed their sides.

Someone had to make sure they made it. Lance knew what he had to do. As the thought entered his head Keith growled. "Don't you even think about it! I am not leaving you here."

Lance kissed him laughing softly. "I know you wouldn't. But I can't watch you get hurt," The water propelled Keith away.

Hunk, please... keep him safe, With tears in his eyes Hunk nodded trapping the squirming red paladin. Watching as the wave lifted the castle high enough for the emergency boosters to activate. Hunk let him go as his body erupted into flames.

"Allura we have to go! Now," the advisor said sadly. Unable to look past the huge silver doors. She nodded rushing to reach the castle controls. Helpless the rest of the team watched as Lance fought, the fatigue settling in from using so much power. Keith watched as his boyfriend was swallowed by the sea of metal.

L~ I love you Keith. I promise I'll be back soon-

Shiro felt like he had failed. Pidge immediately set of to find anything on where he could be taken. She was not going to loose another brother. Hunk sobbed at the thought of what could happen to his Lance. His best friends loyalty wasn't only his greatest trait, but his downfall to.

And Keith.

He felt everything. The faint whisper of metal against his wrists. The shackles digging into his own ankles. The drowsiness of using all your energy. The pain of fear. This wasn't how the day was supposed to go.

He wasn't supposed to be taken...

He wasn't supposed to gain his powers from losing Lance.
