Maggie's POV
I got dressed into a light pair of skinny jeans and a maroon crop top.
I walks downstairs and eat some cereal
"So how was yesterday with jack" Aria asks me
"It was going good" I say
"Was? What happened" she asks
"This girl named Sarah came up to him and he completely ignored me the rest of the time I was there" I say
"Wait but you don't like him do you?"
"..n..no?" i stutter by accident
"Then what's the problem"
"He ignored me, didn't notice my existence" I say
"Does he know he did something wrong?"
"I don't know, I left before anything" I say
"Just give him some time he'll come around" she says
"Okay well while he does that what are we gunna do" I ask and she stops to think for a moment
"We are gunna score you a date tonight" She says with a wide smile
"With who exactly" I say
"I don't know yet, let's go to the mall" she says and literally drags me out the door.

We arrive at the mall and there I see jack?!
"Oh I invited jack since he's a guy he good give you some advice about what guys like" she says
"Hey jack" I say
"Hey look I'm sorry about yesterday" he says
"It's okay" I say, okay I might have a crush on jack
"Okay so first off go up to that guy and ask for his number" she says pointing to this table where a guy is
"Wait what?!" Jack says
"I called you to help Maggie with dating" aria says
"Uh you never told me you called me for that you just said to meet up at the mall" he says
"Oops...well now you know" she says
"You know what maybe we shouldn't do this" I say
"Wait, jack do you have a problem with Maggie dating someone" Aria asks
"What the hell are you doing" I whisper to aria but only loud enough for her to hear.
The second those words leave arias mouth jack stays quiet.
"Do you like her?" She asks and this time I was getting pissed off. Jack stayed quiet until he said
"What no! She can go and date 18 guys I wouldn't care" he says, ouch
"Okay then let's get this started" aria says
"Yeah no thanks, I appreciate you trying to "fix" my love life but, it just doesn't need fixing right now" I say and hear a sigh of relief from jack?
"Are you sure?" Aria asks me
"Yeah she said she's sure so let's go into the vans store" jack says and drags both of us into the vans store
"Well might as well get a new pair of vans" I say and start looking for some I like.
I end up getting a new pair of checkered slip on vans and a vans sweatshirt.
By now we were walking to the café.
We order and sit down in a booth.
"Jack you really need to start singing in public" I say
"I do on an app" he responds
"Oh yeah? What app" I ask
"YouNow" he says
"When do you usually sing on there" aria asks
"When I have time" he says
"Make sure you invite me to the Grammys once you get all famous" I say jokingly
"I will for sure invite you guys, if I even make it to that" he says also jokingly
"You will trust me, just don't forget about me and aria" I say
"I won't forget about my two best friends" he says, who doesn't love the feeling of being friend zoned? Me.
"Okay so do you have a fan base?" Aria asks
"Actually I do, it's a small amount. But I'm getting somewhere" he says
"That's good"
"Yeah hopefully I'll make it to LA someday" he says
"You will" I say
"Okay enough about me, what about you guys" he asks both me and aria
"What about us?" I ask
"What do you plan on doing after high school" he asks
"Moving to Los Angeles for sure" I say
"Yeah same" Aria says.
Our food arrives and we eat it. As we were walking out of the café I noticed this one guy with brown hair and green eyes keep looking at me.
Aria obviously seems to notice
"Ohhh I see him eyeing you" she whispers to me
"Shut up" I say jokingly
We continued walking and then jack wanted to get something from a small store we were near so he went in to get something.
"Hey can I get your number" the guy with green eyes says
"Actually I do-" I say but get cut off by aria giving him my number. He gets it and leaves
"What the hell is your problem, you can't just give people my number" I say and jack comes out with something in a small plastic bag
"Trust me you'll thank me later for giving him your number" she replies
"Maggie you let aria give a random dude your number!" He says kinda frustrated
"Not technically, she cut me off" I say
"Anyways what's in the bag" aria says
"Nothing" he quickly says
"Okay" she replies.
Jack heads home and I head to aria to her house.
"Aria I know your my friend and all but please don't cut me off again" I say and she starts laughing
"Maggie haven't you noticed" she says while continuing to laugh
"Notice what?"
"This is a plan to see if jack will get jealous and will finally say he liked you" she says
"But he doesn't, he said he didn't" I say
"Yeah and now I know you like him" she says.
