Chapter 88

Maggie's POV
"I need to apologize to Luke, I'm not sure if he's still hurting or not but I need to say sorry" I say crying to aria

"Do you still have his number?" She asks me while grabbing a pillow from my bed

"Yeah" I say and send him a text

Me: I know you probably don't want to talk to me right now, but can we talk?

"Now we wait"

"I ordered some pizza" aria says and lays down next to me.

"So you gunna tell me who Dylan is?" She asks me

"My friend, I met him today at the library I work at. He's super sweet" I reply and stare up at my ceiling fan

"Why'd he call you his girlfriend?"

"It's a long story" I start and tell her the rest

"Wow a teen dad, I have mad respect for him already. He sounds like a great guy and Brooke sounds like a complete bitch" she says

"She is a bitch and he is nice" I reply

"I guess jack was just on your phone at the wrong time" aria says

"Yeah but it doesn't changed the fact that he made out with another girl in front of my face and friends" I say sighing.

"Every time I think me and jack are doing okay he always has to do something to make me doubt him and our relationship" I say closing my eyes

"It's almost as if he'll never be satisfied with me, there seems to always be something else for example that one time he cheated on me with Kathy the problem was that I wasn't like Kathy and that I should've been more like her. And now he's not attracted to me? I'm starting to give up aria, I'm obviously not enough for him and he's proved that twice now." I say on the verge of tears but I refuse to cry

"Maggie you are more than enough jack just doesn't know how to show it, which is why jack is no longer gonna hurt you. I won't let him. I'm tired of seeing him always hurt you. This needs to end now. This is toxic." she says.

Is it toxic? Or is toxic taking it to far?

"Should I at least attempt to explain myself, I mean he did cheat because he thought I was cheating on him" I say

"I don't know Maggie but even if he thought you were cheating he shouldn't have gone and kissed someone else. He should have talked to you about it. There's no excuse for him to kiss someone else" she replies and she has a point jack doesn't have excuse to go and kiss someone else.

"So this is probably wrong timing but is Dylan single?" She asks and I roll my eyes

"yes aria he is single"

"You wanna introduce me to him" she says with pleading eyes

"I'll see what I can do but fair warning he has more important things going on then going on dates so don't be hurt if he turns you down" I say and she nods her head.

Dylan does have more important things for example taking care of Astrid, going to court because of Brooke. He has a lot going on for a nineteen year old.
