Chapter 78

Maggie's POV
"Thanks for letting me stay here for a while" I say and walk into arias apartment.

"No problem" she replies, she has an extra room so I'll be staying here for a while till I actually have somewhere to stay.

I unpack and put my stuff in the drawers.

"My shift starts in 10 minutes so I'm gunna head out okay?" She says and I nod my head and with that she's out the door.

I need to apply for a job ASAP.

I head out around the streets near there and find myself at a small library, it looks empty.

I enter and see an old lady at the front desk

"Are you guys hiring?" I ask

"We actually are, are you interested?" She asks with a small smile

"Yeah" I reply and she hands me some paper work.

"Thank you" I say and head out.

Since I'm talking online college classes and i modeling didn't work out for me I don't have a job.

A part time job at least.

Which is why I need one because I can't rely on my brother for everything since he's been traveling for photoshoots I rarely see him anymore.

The library was 2 stories but it was small and not to far from arias apartment complex.

I go back to the apartment and sit down replaying the events that just happened over and over again in my head.

I hurt the one person who was truly ever there for me, all for love.

I realize I still have the engagement ring on.

A tear rolls down my cheek thinking of the happy life I could've had with someone who wouldn't hurt me, but no my heart just had to choose jack.

I enter my room and start filling out the job application I got from the library.

About an hour later I get a call from jonah.

"Hey Maggie"

"Hey"

"Daniel told us what jack told you, and we wanted to ask if your okay" he says

"I-I ended things with Luke" I say stumbling over my words trying to hold back my tears

"oh my gosh, where are you staying now?!?" He asks worriedly

"Aria had a spare room so I'm staying with her until I can find myself somewhere to stay" I explain

"If you ever need anything you know me and the guys are here for you right?"

"Yeah I know" I say

"Okay well I gotta go now" he says

"Bye" I say and hang up.

I take off the engagement ring and place it next to my other ring, the one Liam gave me.

I debated on putting on the one that Liam Gave me again.

Just as I was about to put it on aria bursts through the door.

"Maggie, j-jack hes out of control" she says trying to catch her breath

"What do you mean?" I say and put the ring back

"Daniel told jack that all jack has caused you was pain, and jack didn't take it well and he's literally taking it out on everyone. Zach called me saying jack has literally almost broken everything in the house" aria exclaims.

"We need to go now" I reply and she drives me over to their house.

If jack really was out as control as badly as aria said then why would she call me?

What makes them think I would make a difference.

We arrive at the house and as soon as we enter we see broken glass all over the floor, it looked as if a tornado passed by.

Then we heard yelling from upstairs.
