Chapter 81

Maggie's POV
"Cmon were gunna be late" I tell jack as we walk through the airport.

We go through everything we need to do and about an hour later we board our flight.

I decide to fall asleep since we had to wake up early for the flight I was still sleepy.

Jacks POV

"Wake up Maggs" I say and start shaking her since the plane landed and she wouldn't wake up.

I shake her a bit more and she finally wakes up

"What happened" she mumbles

"The place landed, c'mon" I say and grab my earbuds.

We get off the plane and order an Uber to her aunts house.

Corbyns POV
"Why's jack not up yet?" I ask the rest of the guys

"I don't know" jonah responds

"I'll go get him" zach adds and walks upstairs and I go with him.

We first knock but no one answers, we then open the door.

We enter and see his drawers empty,

"GUYS HE LEFT" Zach yells obviously panicked.

A few seconds pass and the rest of the guys come rushing in.

"Where do you think he went?!" Daniel says worriedly

"Maybe he went to stay somewhere else?" I say.

Where could he have gone?

Maggie's POV
We arrive at my house and knock on the door since I didn't have a key.

A few seconds pass and the door opens revealing my aunt.

"Maggie?! Oh my god what are you doing here?!" She asks and pulls me in a hug

"Surprise?" I respond,

"Jack?! You've gotten taller" she says and gives him a hug to

"I've missed you" I tell my aunt and then tater tot comes running up to me

"I've missed you to tater tot" I say and bend down to give him a hug.

He looks at jack and starts sniffing him almost as if he didn't recognize him but then he started wagging his tail.

I guess he does remember jack.

"I haven't seen you in so long" Jack tells tater and gives him a hug.

We enter the house and put our stuff in the rooms.

Jacks staying in Caleb's old room while I'm staying in mine.

I start unpacking when tater tot comes running in my room

"aw do you wanna go on a walk?" I say and starts barking, I guess that's a yes?

I grab his leash and put it in him

"Jack I'm gunna take tater tot on a walk, you wanna come?" I ask

"Yeah" he responds and we head out,

We start walking him around the neighborhood when he starts running out of nowhere causing me to let go of the Leash.

Why does this always happen?

Me and jack start running after tater tot,

"TATER TOT COME BACK" I yell after him but he just keeps running.

We keep chasing him until he stops, and of course he stops here.

Here at the cafe.

We put his leash back on and just stand there, this is the first time I've been here with jack ever since he left.

"This is where we met, remember" he says and of course I remember.

"Yeah I remember" I reply

"Just like old times" he says, except it wasn't like old times.

Me and him, were not who we used to be, we've both changed, things changed.

"Crazy isn't it? How a cafe caused all this to happen" he says with a small smile.

To most people this is just a regular cafe, but to me and jack it's more than that. It's special because it's where we first met.

"Do you remember I was a complete asshole to you when we first met?" He says laughing

"How could I forget" I say and laugh at the memory

"Remember the fortune teller?" I ask him

"Yeah I do" He reply's.

I start looking around and I see her stand next to the cafe.

"Jack look" I tell him and he also notices the fortune teller.

"Wanna go?" I ask him and he nods his head.

We head over to her with a smile and when she notices us she smiles back.

"I see my prediction came true" she says with a smile

"Yeah it did" jack replies

"We're hoping you could read our future again" I say and she nods her head.

She takes both our hands just like the first time, and closes her eyes.

"I see great success but I also see a few road bumps" she says and opens her eyes.

What does she mean by a few road bumps?

"What do you mean a few road bumps?" I ask

"That you will have to figure out yourself" she says.

"Thank you" me and jack say

"It was my pleasure" she reply's and we leave the stand.

We enter the cafe and order some coffee, we take a seat at a booth.

The same one as our first date.
