For this Chapter things will be different. As it is meant to hold a lot of a dialogue like a long TV scene where there isn't a lot of moving, but there is a lot of talking. There will be short descriptions between lines at times, but think of this as more of a script or play. Trying my hand at different things. It could be bad, could be decent, we'll see.
Melina wakes up in an empty stone room lit by a single hardly lit torch in the distance. The light shining on Melina was very dim and almost non existent.
She remembers the golden blade splitting between her ribs and she tries to move her hands down to check the wound, but her hands resist her movements.
Only now realizing in her slight conscious state of her being restrained by shackles bound around her wrists and tied to the arms of a chair she sits in. Her legs bound to the legs of the chair.
She tries to shake her restraints, but nothing, she lies imprisoned in this dark dungeon.
Melina closes her eyes tight as her heart begins to race and fear creeps into her mind. Taking slow breathes to ease her heart rate, but something felt odd about this room, it seems to be making Melina scared more than usual.
In her process of calming down she feels a cold grasp rise up her spine which resets her fear. She didn't hear anyone enter, she didn't see anyone when she opened her eyes, so whose behind her.
Distorted Voice: The Frostguard is too much for you isn't it?
Melina: What? No. I like defending my home.
Distorted Voice: Is that what you say to yourself to justify your boredom? Your endless fatigue?
Melina: I saw a Dr. he claims i'm cursed. Who are you.
Rounding the chair in his grey and white armor with a giant sword resting on his back.
Melina: Da.. Dayton? Help me get out of here. What is this?
Dayton: You are being held captive by your mother. Like everyone you ever love in your life, we all turn against you.
Melina: What? You've never met my mother.
The body of Dayton vanishes into smoke and vanishes leaving Melina to question what she's seeing and hearing. She wrestles with her chains once more trying to leave, but nothing. She tries her magical teleportation spell she knows, nothing. Tries creating an arrow to pick the locks of the bindings, nothing.
Carsin: Try as you might. In the end it is never enough. I did all I could to raise you with Melissa, but i'm dead.
Melina looks to her father standing before her out of nowhere holding his Radiant Snow sword in his hands. His one metallic and flesh hand that is.
Melina: You died to save us all, that's brave, heroic and everything you went through was not for nothing. Look at me, I lived, your daughter lived.
