Kywin pulls the horse to a stop on a snowy bank near the ocean. Overlooking the partial frozen waters and right to the cottage sprung to life with flowers of many kinds.
He climbs off his horse and heads to the wagon and pulls out the corpse of Dayton for him to carry.
Walking up to the cottage, the door flies open to an elven girl waiting on the other side. Wearing a green dress, a tiara with three claws on each side of the head resting on long platinum blonde hair.
"Kywin? You're back?" The girl's eyes look to the lifeless Dayton and she grasps the reasoning as to why he has returned.
"Yes, Tarona. This man needs to be brought back." The horse neighs loudly in the background and Tarona nods her head and lets Kywin inside.
"Set him on the table." Tarona points to an open table and heads to her own little desk in the back of this beautifully decorated cabin. Flowers everywhere on the inside with small fountains in every corner.
Kywin goes to the empty table and sets down Dayton on it. "Hang on a little more, man."
"How's Avin?" Tarona asks while rummaging through her cluttered desk looking for something.
Kywin looks up to Tarona and he watches her from behind. Almost feeling sorry for himself. "He's still here. Still telling me what to do. Save Melina and all that."
"Have you found Melina?" Tarona picks up a broken tong set and looks at it weirdly before placing it back down and just stares at her desk.
"Yes. She's very mentally messed up right now. No hope, no sense of faith. Nothing. This man here was everything to her. She needs him back. She needs something. She was practically begging to die alongside him."
Tarona pushes a bunch of junk off her desk. "Where are my gloves?" She sighs and Kywin walks up to her and hugs her from behind, resting his head on her shoulders. "Focus. When did you last use them?"
Tarona shakes her head. "When I brought you back in Undreldin." She closes her eyes and takes a moment, a small breath. "I put them in a crate." She pulls from the hug and runs into a back room.
Kywin sits on a chair and looks at how different the cabin is from when he was last here.
"If I find the crate!" She yells from the backroom. "We can get started!"
He looks over at a pot with a small plant in it. Growing and healthy. It was the plant he got for her when he was revived years ago.
Tarona walks back into the room with a big crate in her hands. "They have to be in this." She sets it down on her junk desk and opens the crate. Kywin walks over to see what's inside.
The crate is filled with many daggers and pieces of jewelry. Tarona reaches down to the bottom and pulls out a pair of black leather gloves with gems embedded in the palms of the gloves. "It's time." She says while putting them on.
