Two of a Kind (Cloud x Link)

I have a confession to make

Cloud Strife's POV

Weeks have gone by, and I have gotten comfortable living in Link's room. We had been telling stories about our lands and their histories, and we gave details about our lives and love interests, and the part of our romances were what really sparked me up, but I kept it quiet to myself. As each passing day went by, I kept on thinking of Link as I watched him teach me about the Smash Bros. Mansion.

Every time I look at him, it feels like I'm in heaven, I thought. And Link's such a fitting name to go with it.

But wait. I can't seriously have something in common with... the Hero of Hyrule. Think this to yourself, 1st-class SOLDIER. You love Tifa and you always will, despite the fact that you will never come back. I can't seriously have feelings.

Especially of another man.

Once I and Link got back from another battle, I shut the door behind us, and I wanted to say something, but I didn't know what.

Link's POV

I was just about to take off my equipment until I turned around and saw Cloud looking away from my gaze.

"Cloud," I asked. "Is there something on your mind?"

I just looked and watched him, the cyan glow in his eyes gleaming brighter and his face starting to look red.

"If there's anything wrong, you can tell me," I said.

Cloud Strife's POV

I felt the adrenaline coursing through my spine, making me feel dizzy and uncomfortable. There was red in my face, and it kept getting hotter the more I thought about those terrible thoughts with Link - holding him, hugging him tight.

Kissing him.

I slowly walked up to Link, for the first time in years awkwardly shy and horny, as I tugged at my turtleneck and swallowed.

Link's POV

As I was watching Cloud walk closer to me, I too was beginning to blush, and my hip was touching the side of the bed we shared. I noticed Cloud looked comparably smaller in battle, but when we were alone, together, he was only a few centimeters larger than me. I looked at him with wide-open eyes, feeling rather nervous about this. I thought he knew about my relationship with Zelda. My mouth was slammed shut, my teeth clenching and my tongue backed down deep into my throat. I didn't want to tell him my real feelings and I was shocked, nervous as he peered closer to my face, his glowing cyan eyes fixed on my deep blue ones.

As Cloud Strife leaned in closer to my ear, I heard him whisper to me what he never said before, "I noticed you and I are both similar - we're both tough, brave, always being acknowledged, but there's one thing you are that I'm not.

Cute."

Cloud Strife's POV

I didn't know what the hell I was thinking, and when I said those things to him, I suddenly regained conscious as he stared at me, blushing hard. I was tickled pink in the face too, and I knew we might be more than just friends.

It's okay, Cloud, I quickly thought. This would all be over and Link'll almost forget this whole situation. He's starting to look uncomfortable, and I feel strange too. What is this aromatic sense? Is it some sort of love between us? Sweet gods, how can I possibly be in love with another man if I already have a girlfr- you know what, fuck it.

In a quick flash, I pressed my lips against the Hylian's. I shut my eyes during the encounter in fear of what would happen as I kept using the friction between the two of us.

Link's POV

I can't believe it. Cloud Strife, a mere ex-soldier, is kissing me, and I'm a male! Boy and boy cannot love one another... but somehow, I feel aroused by it. Cloud's soft lips meeting with mine, I felt relaxed despite the adrenaline flowing through my body and my heart was beating fast. He pretty much confessed to me, and I was keeping my secret on having a crush on Cloud too. As my eyes were still open, I noticed Cloud was hugging me, hands wrapped around my torso and his hips rubbing against mine to spice up the tension. The shapes of his eyelids had shown he was drawn by the kiss, as he slightly opened his mouth and nipping at my lips.

I then realized I too was drawn to be relaxed by the kiss despite the two of us being men, and I started hugging Cloud and closing my eyes. I slowly pulled the both of us onto the bed, and I was underneath the blond-haired mercenary's body, his hips still grinding against mine and having me blush even more.

Cloud Strife's POV

When I opened my eyes for just a minute, I saw Link was below me on the bed we were sharing, and I didn't care if it was uncomfortable with the armor on, so I opened my mouth a little wider and inserted my tongue into his mouth. As I kept on brushing the inside of Link's mouth, I felt his tongue rub hard, and oh boy, was he good at it. I guess years of practice went a long way. However, I did it even better and I kept pushing against that wet, warm piece of meat.

Link's POV

We were in a state of a tug-of-war between our tongues, the both of us good at this sort of thing. In the end, I gave up when mine got tired, and I let him send tastes down my spine. His tongue was now roaming my mouth freely, and hot liquid started pouring from the back of his throat. The taste is so aromatic; so wild and steaming. Beads of sweat rolled down on our bodies as Cloud kept rubbing his hips against mine. Such intensity was enough to make me leak my pants a little, and when I got a boner, Cloud got one as well.

Cloud Strife's POV

Fuck...

My erection felt like it was rising, and I felt like I was going to piss in my pants with all this intensity as I kept mashing tongues with Link, our lips slightly apart.

Please, gods, no, I thought. Let's not do this today... Not yet... L-link...

When the two of us couldn't handle it anymore and took a deep breath of air, a thick line of saliva traced inbetween our lips and tongues, tiny bubbles forming as it mixed with the sweat that dripped from our heads and soaked our clothes. Our hearts were beating fast, and it wasn't even sex.

"C-cloud..." Link panted as he was catching his breath. "That felt... a-amazing..."

"I'm so glad... y-you enjoyed it t-too... L-link..." I answered. "I-it's kinda getting late... I think we should... g-get ready for b-bed..."

"Y-yeah..." Link said. "I wanted to t-tell you how much I l-loved you too..."

I'm so glad you think so... I thought as we were getting dressed and washing our faces from all the sweat.

When Link and I got in bed and turned off the lights, I felt my mentor crawl up next to me underneath the covers, hugging me tight on my left, moaning my name.

"Mmmmm... Cloud..." Link muttered in his sleep.

Link... I know you will not replace my Tifa, but I feel like you're more compassionate... We have an eternity to tell how much we love each other...
