Cloud Strife's POV

For the first few weeks after our firstborn son, Link and I took it to our advantage to raise him like good parents. It was rather stressful since we had to look after the baby's every need and we had no idea about parenting. Eventually, we got the kid asleep as we both watched him fall asleep in his crib.

"Doesn't he look precious?" I asked Link quietly, gently touching the baby's pointed ears without waking him.

"He sure does," Link whispered. "It's a shame he can't visit us at the tournament..."

"Well, what do you say we leave Bee at the nursery while the two of us do a normal 1v1 match, just like old times?" I asked.

"That sounds fine," Link quietly answered, slowly and gently carrying the sleeping baby in his arms. "See you at the battlefield once I drop Bee off." I nodded in response, walking out of our room for our little match.

Link's POV

Cloud and I were walking out to the Battlefield stage on opposite ends, the two of us drawing out our swords.

"Just know I still have more experience than you," I called out.

"Go ahead, girly veteran who's been low-tier since the beginning," Cloud answered. I sighed at that remark, standing with my sword and shield.

"Just like old times, huh?" Cloud continued.

"Yeah," I answered with a smile on my face. "Like old times."

Cloud and I rushed to each other, our clashing swords laid against a beautiful background. Thankfully this was a private match since no audience was here to see us fight. Cloud Strife jumped from platform to platform, always on the move. He was using his signature Limit Charge, watching me pull out my boomerang. He then jumped right in front of me, ready to use his Blade Beam move. With one powerful projectile, Cloud tore a giant hole in my Champion's Tunic, exposing my bare chest.

I thankfully pulled out a Remote Bomb, throwing it at Cloud Strife before he got the chance to use the same attack again. I ran towards him to use a Spin Attack, not even aware I pulled out my Sheikah Slate and the Remote Bomb was right on top of us, ready for detonation. As Cloud grabbed me, a blue explosion overwhelmed the both of us, burning our clothes off. Now we were fully naked, with our gloves and weapons still intact. The two of us now flew to the middle of the stage. Before I knew it, I was lying on my stomach, my limp knocker touching the stone floor.
