Link's POV
A few weeks had passed ever since that amazing sex with Cloud. After that, we didn't do much love-making since. Maybe covering each other with smooches and snuggling in bed together, but that's pretty much it. One day, that morning was the time that changed my life.
I was sleeping in with Cloud Strife that morning, the both of us in our pajamas, thinking about our lives might change now that we're married. All of a sudden, I felt a peculiar pain in my stomach. My insides were starting to rumble, and I was feeling nauseous. I then clasped over my mouth, about to throw up. To avoid waking up Cloud, I sneaked out of the bedroom into the bathroom and lifted the toilet lid. Thankfully I locked the door just in time. I then opened my mouth and a huge gush of vomit flowed through my mouth into the toilet. I was beginning to hurt in the area below my digestive system, and the texture and taste of the puke made me throw up even more.
What did I eat last night!? I thought to myself as I kept throwing up. Surely I didn't eat anything I was allergic to!
Cloud Strife's POV
I slowly woke up when I heard some strange noises. It sounded a lot like solid objects being dropped into a pool of water, with Link gagging along with it. Driven mad by concern, I ran to where the sound was loudest: the bathroom. However, when I tried to open the door, Link had already locked it.
"Linky, is everything okay?" I asked the Champion of Hyrule.
"Go away, Cloud," Link moaned. "Can't you see I don't feel so good today?" Link gagged again, sounding like he was throwing up again. Good thing I hid the bathroom key underneath the entrance mat. I unlocked the door and saw Link clenching his stomach, constantly flushing the toilet before retching in it again. Once the Hylian felt like he can't throw up anymore, he wiped his mouth with the toilet paper, threw the dirty parts of the roll away, and flushed the toilet while wiping the rim.
"Are you okay?" I asked him. From his expression, I saw he didn't look like his usual self... almost like he was sick or something. Link then grabbed a toothbrush and toothpaste, wetting them both in the bathroom sink, brushing his teeth to get rid of the bad taste that the vomit left on his tongue. Once he rinsed and spit, I could see the leftover puke run down the drain, making me gag a tiny bit.
"Fix me some breakfast, bitch," Link growled, grabbing my shirt.
"After you JUST threw up?" I objected in question. "What's going on, baby? This isn't your usual self..."
"Just get me whatever we have left in the kitchen and pour them all into a bucket, and you better make it fast," Link snarled, licking his teeth.
"This is a really weird breakfast you're asking for," I asked. "I mean... asking for EVERYTHING in the kitchen poured into a bucket? And besides, it's a little much for someone like you..."
"Get on with it now or I'll give you 5 across the ass," Link answered in strictness. Surprised by this drastic change, I immediately went down to the kitchen, getting whatever we have in the kitchen. I was supposed to mix them all in a bucket, so I cooked the items that were supposed to be cooked, dumped everything in a random bucket, and began mixing with a large stirring spoon. Once I was done, I took it to our bedroom, offering it to Link, who was lying down on the bed.
"Here you are...?" I asked. Link then took the bucket to himself, devouring large spoonfuls after large spoonfuls, eating fast and vicious like he didn't eat anything in months. While Link was eating, I wanted to ask him a question concerning his health.
"Link?" I asked. "Do you think you should go visit Dr. Mario about this situation?" I saw that Link was already finished, licking his fingers.
"What are you talking about? I'm fine," Link answered, putting the empty bucket on his side of the bed.
