After we eat, Mia takes the kids up to room number three. Its mostly storage yet has a few simple toys. Evan sits and plays with a small toy drum. "Bang Bang Bang!" He shouts

I smile " Ok who wants to watch the kids?" Mia asks.

" I can " Garret says

" And I'll stay here and watch Garret" Stella says and garret puts his arm around her.

" lets go then!"

Mia, Emma, Easton, Avery, and I rush out of the room, and climb down the open window that we now use as a door.

" I miss our old life" Avery says sighing " Its less dirty."

But things can never go back to the way they were.

" No zombies?" Mia asks " Nothing!!"

" Calm down Mia, its ok" Easton comforts her.

" I know" She pauses " You'd think today would be the day that all the zombies were out"

" Maybe its like in minecraft " I suggest " They burn in the sunlight "

After three hours of searching we find a young boy. Around the age of seventeen, names Levi. He's an expert hunter and lives in a small tent around were my old house used to be. He has

" I dont need anyone" he says

" But we have shelter" Mia explains but he just points to his tent. " we have weapons" He shoots an arrow in a small space between Mia and Easton. " Listen big shoot we have lots of food and water, plus people which you will need to talk to or you will get depressed! We also have medication for that..... your choice"

He sighs " Fine " He stands up, quickly takes down his tent and grabs the few items he has. He mocks us under his breath.

" You are not going to need that tent.." I say

He stares with his big brown eyes " Whats yours name girly?"

" Dakota "

" Like .... the state?" He asks confused.

" Uh yea" I say " What about you?"

" Levi"

" Like the jean company?" I mock him. He smirks but I just shake my head.

" Don't sass me. We just met. " he continues to walk with us back to our shelter. " You got any survival skills?"

" Yea" I put my hand on my hip " Lots"

" Good because just cause I'm living with y'all , dose not mean i'll help." He says

I roll my eyes at his comments " Wow"

" What?" he asks

" You have lots to learn my friends"

He stops and stares at me " Like what?"

" You mean along with manners and selflessness?" I ask

He just stares.

" Well lets see... being polite, respect for others and yourself, and just being nice. "

" You have no right!!" He yells

" Break it up!" Mia shouts " Dakota come with me, Levi hang out with Easton while you cool down.."

We walk in silence until we get home . " What is going on! " Avery yells.

We walk in to see Evan is crawling around the hardwood floor with rags on him. " You cant!" someone shouts

" But why not!" Its Garret.

" What are you guys doing!" I walk in on them.

" He wants to use the children as personal mops to clean the floors." Stella says .

" Garret!" Mia shouts

" I was just kidding" I hear him whisper. " Oh..Hi I'm Garret!"

" And I don't care" Levi exits the room.

" Do we have to keep him?" I ask Mia.

" I know he's a pain.."

" He's way more than a pain!" I shout

" Just try not to kill him in his sleep or something.."
