Promise me , Sam Jang." He reached out to take her hand.

Jin Seon Mi obliged, heart filled with immense sorrow like somebody ripped it out from her body, "I promise."

His hand felt so warm against her and in that moment, she felt like they were connected somehow. The man smiled warmly and then suddenly he began to fade.

Jin Seon Mi felt a wave of panic as he began to slip away. She began to run to him, reaching forward to touch him or to stop him, anything.

"Come back!" she cried as tears went down her cheeks.

Jin Seon Mi woke up abrupty, her heart was racing and sweat beads kept falling down her forehead.

Breathing heavily, she reached for her glass of water from her nightstand. Her dreams were becoming so regular that she needs a glass of water by her nightstand. Her dreams were different each time but one thing remains constant.

There is always that same man from her dream. The mystery man was wearing old traditional Korean clothing and had his hair in a half do. From what she had learnt is that men with half dos in the past were in the lower class society.

But he was handsome. He had the prettiest eyes she had ever seen.

Jin Seon Mi paused. Only thing is that, Jin Seon Mi doesn't know who he was nor has she ever seen him before. It was oddly strange.

Her dreams felt so real, it doesn't even feel ike a dream more like... waves of memories. But one thing that bothered her about her dream tonight,

It almost felt like a nightmare.

The pain in her heart felt so real, her cries and her desperation when the man left her was strong. And much to her surprise, she felt her tears fall down her cheeks.

"This is silly. Why am I even crying for someone I don't even know?" she consoled herself as she wiped her tears.

Soon with a heavy heart, she was able to fall asleep.

"No you did not!" Jin Seon Mi wanted to yell out of her frustration. Her grandmother is at it again.

"Please, my little Seon Mi! You will adore this man! He is a lawyer and is our neighbor's cousin twice removed!" she could basically hear her granny gush over the phone.

Ever since she had turned 30, her granny was all about her getting married or going for dates. If she were to count how many set ups she had this year, it would be around 12 blind dates.

Jin Seon Mi cringed at the memories, she was not particularly picky with men. She had dated a few but there just was not any... spark. No connection. Nada. Not one. She was not in a hurry though, she was happy where she was at in her life.

Her real estate business was doing well and she is perfectly healthy. She did not need a man at all.

But somehow her Grandma did not think so and here she was getting, setting her up with a man that she doesn't even know.

"Seon Mi ah, I promise if you do not like this man, I will not force you to go on any blind dates at all." Her Granny pleaded.

That's what you said about the last seven dates.

Jin Seon Mi wanted to retort but she knew that would just upset her Grandma so she just agreed. Her Grandma just wanted what's best for her and just wanted to see her settle down so she would oblige even if It is against her will.
