DISCLAIMER: PURELY FICTION. I dont know much of the Korean Politics or their task forcesPlot: Jin Seon Mi and Son Oh Gong are well trained spies for the countries they serve. Jin Seon Mi for the North and Son Oh Gong for the South. He was meant to kill her but he saved her instead.
He fixed his black tie as the valet opened the car door for him. It was the night of the annual charity ball, everyone who is anyone significant in Seoul was there. Presidents, Politicians, tycoons, the media, etc you name it and they were there. It was a social event for all those who wanted to just boast about their wealth, meet new people, get connections and just be known in the hierarchy.
But he wasn't there to socialize or to mingle with anyone.
Nope.
He was there to kill.
Kill and report to be exact. That was his mission for tonight.
"I'm here." He whispered quietly.
"Copy that." A voice answered in his earpiece. It was one of his team members, Ha Gyeol or also known as General Winter.
The doormen politely smiled at him as they opened the glass doors to the venue. It was if they had opened the doors to a different dimension. It was exactly how you would picture it in a movie, marble halls, champagne, gold and silver, evening gowns and black suits.
"Rich bastards." He could not help but retort to himself, eyes scanning the crowd as he watched people just sickly complimenting each other and just kissing each other's asses.
If there was anything he hated more than noise, he hated mingling and he especially hated it when people stick their noses into people's butts just to get into their good side. The thought of him doing that sent shivers to his spine, he is just glad that he gets to earn a good living and not do that.
Five years into this field, he had earned his keep as a professional double agent and not to pat himself on the back but he was good at what he does. Top Spy at that for the KCIA
Great in combat. Sharp Shooter.
He made his way through the ball; his dark eyes scanned through the crowd searching for his target. In hopes of finding her, he made his way to the bar ordering a scotch. His eyes were kept in the crowd, taking a sip of his scotch maintaining his alias.
And then suddenly a woman came to the bar and leaned against the bar, ordering a glass of bourbon whiskey. The smoothness of her voice startled him a little bit. She was around five foot six, sleek straight dark brown hair, big brown eyes that resembles of a cat. Wearing a red dress that showed off her curves and legs that could go on and on.
Rumors were true then.
She really was indeed beautiful; it was only too bad that he was her target.
"Han Hyo Jin-ssi." He greeted keeping his tone polite, smiling at the young woman. She did not look older nor younger than him, they were just about the same age.
The woman cocked her head, a small crease on the eyebrow, "Have we met?"
He chuckled and reached out his hand, "I am Park Tae Hyun."
She smiled shyly, her eyes mesmerized by him and took his hand. He gently squeezed it and gave a small kiss on her knuckles before letting go of her hand. "Nice to meet you, Tae Hyun-ssi."
"This might come across as inappropriate seeming as we just met but may I dance with you?" he questioned, his eyes boring into hers.
She paused like she was thinking about it before replying, "Sure." He took her hand and led her to the middle of the dance floor. There were other pairs who were dancing already to the music.
