Four hours.

Four long hours

For others, those hours can just go fast like in a blink of an eye for most people but for Jin Seon Mi, it felt like a lifetime.

Torturous and filled with dread.

"Sam Jang, are you ready?" she heard Mawang's voice in her ear piece. He had agreed for her to come, not that she had cared for his permission but she was glad nonetheless.

Jin Seon Mi was going to take the bait even if it means risking her life to save Son Oh Gong.

A life for another.

Finding the location was not hard. She knew it like the back of her head. Her former boss's headquarters is exactly what you would expect, a building that looked like a big block wrapped in steel. The exterior was bulletproof, just in case there were surprise attacks from the enemy camp. Not that it comes to anyone's surprise

Jin Seon Mi entered the premises without having to sneak her way in, she did not need to. The bastards were already expecting her arrival so there were no weapons aimed at her, no grenades thrown at her. They just opened the entrance and welcomed her like an old friend.

As if.

As she walked to the hollowed halls, each step was taking her down to memory lane, memories that will forever be etched in her mind. Those memories that had made and broke her in many ways possible. Jin Seon Mi made a vow that she was no longer going to come back to a place that had scarred her entire being, but this was different. She would be dead first before they could make Son Oh Gong go through that. Never in a million years.

She had been instructed to enter the interrogation room, she had been there a million times. Seduced, pried, forced, tortured men and sometimes women for vital information that can benefited her bosses in many ways especially financially. The people she had worked for had no soul, they would just ask her to kill those who has been captured without any hesitation Regardless, if they had retrieve the information that they wanted or not. The worst part of it all, she would just comply. She was trained that way.

Not anymore. She was no longer the same person that she once was.

What welcomed her was a smug looking man in a grey suit, a face that had haunted her for years. She has not seen the man in such a long time that looking at his face just reminded her how much she loathed. no abhorred the man.

"Ah. Sam Jang. My favorite girl." he placed both his hands inside his pockets. His stance was so relaxed like he had no care, she wanted to just punch his face senseless.

"Ghim Min Jun-ssi ." She said the formality with a snarl, her tone indifferent.

To her complete annoyance, he snickered in amusement, "You don't look that excited to see me, Sam Jang. What seems to be the matter?"

"Where is he?" she did not beat around the bush.

He grinned, "Whoever do you mean?"

"Shut up." she hissed. Anger was rising up her chest. Jin Seon Mi knew she needed to compose herself or else, they'd harm Son Oh Gong. But she could not help it though, just looking at this monster's face infront of her can already make her rile up.

Shaking his head in feigned disappointment, "Manners, Sam Jang. Have I not taught you that before? That's a shame."

If anyone were to look at her right now, she seemed unaffected but in truth she was seething in anger but she chose to show no emotions. It would just feed his ego and thats the last thing that she wants to do.
