So I just saw "Love, Simon" and I noticed the person I saw it with was tearing up a little at the sentimental parts- as one normally would.

But I didn't as I'm more emotionless than her. The only part I started to tear up was when his dad was talking to him outside of their house. I don't know if that's because I want my dad to react like that and I feel like he will or if it's because I feel like he won't.

With how much he loves me I feel like he would react exactly like his dad did.

But all the jokes and the scuffs and the eye rolls and the "damn homos" or "fuckin fags" I don't know if he means any of that.

And that scares me.

I don't want to loose my dad.

And his depression scares me. I don't know if one day I'm gonna get a call that he was found on the side of the road somewhere.

So I want to tell him.

But at the same time... I don't want to loose him, in any way.

So I'm back to "I'm scared."
