So we had just gotten some otter pops and my dad wanted some out of the box for in the freezer (it's small compared to our last one) and he was listening to music in the garage. the song that was playing was bohemian rhapsody.
he asked me a question when we were in the laundry room (it leads to the garage). he then went on to say he loves me & is proud of me and whatever i want to be.
i remember he called me daughter then corrected it to son then to something along the lines of "whatever you want to be".
this happened in april (2020) so not word for word but it took so much weight & fear away. i spent all day after that trying not to cry from relief & happiness.
& the fact that he said he accepts me during that song.
we stan growth <3
